His first solo album; electronic music, of course.
Maybe a little primitive by today's standards,
but behind the technicalities, very good tunes.

A non-typical RS album; jazzy and exotic, with different voices
(including Akiko Yano).
Interesting but disconcerting for a non die-hard fan?

A very good album, some believe his best,
with Riot In Lagos a brilliant track.

A superb piece of work, IF you don't get the US edition.
The Japanese edition is more complete,
but even better is the Dutch one :
it includes the complete Japanese edition plus
the 4 Arrangement EP tracks.

The Japanese edition contains the 4 normal tracks plus
the 2 tracks from the single.

A nice collection of different versions.

A weird one, with rap and samplings from "Blade Runner".
A more industrial album than the previous ones,
and very interesting if you accept that.

Good if you like live recordings.

For me, a brilliant collection of RS best known tunes
(the ones from Merry Xmas and the Last Emperor).
The box is near impossible to find now, but the 2 cd
reedition only lacks some tracks recorded in New-York;
the whole Tokyo Symphony Orchestra part is there.

The Japanese version is different, not
necessarily better than the international one.

R.S. has a radio program in Japan,
showcase for electronic music bands.
This collects 21 of them, plus short
jingles by the master himself.
Very interesting (but don't buy it for
R.S.'s music : his pieces are around 15s long)
