6922/6DJ8 HYBRID POWER AMPLIFIER



The Baby 300B and the 300B tube power amplifier are working without feedback. I like their sound very much. This will be my project after the DPL.

  1. You may use 2SA1301/2SC3280 or MJ15003/MJ15004 for power and 2SB649/ 2SD669 or 2SA940/2SC2073 for driver.
  2. You may replace the output transistor with MOS. FET, Take a look at my Tube & MOS. FET Hybrid power amplifier.
  3. The 2SC2770 and the driver transistors should mount beside the power transistors on the same heatsink.
  4. Set R5 until you get 0.3 volt on R10 or R11, then the amplifier is running class A within 30W.
  5. R6 is for DC balance, set it until the output is 0 volt DC
