This is the humble home of all Highschool Batch 1969 of the Ateneo De Naga where all batchmates as well as guests and visitors can stop by and rest for a while in their journeys through the cyberspace. Everyone is welcome. At the ADeN HS '69 home along the information highway, you will meet these interesting group of people - ADeN HS Batch '69. A generation of Ateneans who saw the rather confusing transformation of the world from the innocence of the '60's and before, and the new awareness of the '70's and thereafter; from Elvis Presley, through the Beatles, Dave Clark 5, Lettermen, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Barry White, Dionne Warwick, The Carpenters, Tadao Hayashi, Bon Jovi, U2, Hammer, and Alanis Morisette. Other icons of their time include Muhammad Ali, Kareem Abdul Jabar, Barbarella (Jane Fonda), and James Bond, Karl Marx, Mao Tse Tung, Alfred Newman (MAD Magazine). They also saw the first landing on the moon (on black & white TV), read the news about Berkely Square protest against the Vietnam war, the Lucila Lalu "jigsaw" murder, Ruby Towers tragedy, and of course, Woodstock. You will get to know them, share their memories, re-live their happy moments. These guys roamed the Naga streets on bikes. Braved the dangers of Sta. Cruz and Francia Sts. at night just to visit the girls of their dreams. 1969 BACS MEET Champions for H.S. Softball,etc.,etc. Mga paratambay sa Cathedral naghahalat sa mga "crush" nindang Colegiala. Mga mahilig sa rambol, "psychedelic and most organized cheats" according to Fr. OB. Mahilig sa book reports, parokyano sa jug and post, mga "addict" sa Cheng's bread and coke. Para-ubos kan mga bola sa gameroom sa may assembly hall. Toured practically the entire Bicol Region (for free) during the annual PJAA fund drive. These guys were also in the eye of what was called the "First Quarter Storm" of Philippine youth activism, some were even lucky enough to be residents of the "Diliman Commune". And through these all they kept their Ateneo spirit, humanitarian, libertarian, but most of all Christian. They are survivors, they are strong, and every inch 100% pure unadulterated Atenean. You'll surely love them. Actually you have no choice.

This site is always visited by Art "The Oragon" Manalo, Madeleine Sales de la Rosa - a Colegiala who calls herself "Mad," and Natividad Martires - also a Colegiala and who goes by the name "Nutty." Others, including you, are part of the or so guests since yesterday.
