Welcome to the domain of GRIT character Kappa Rapoasa, a polymath, adventurer, and general protagonist.

Kappa doesn't really exist ^_^ . He is a fictional character loosely
based upon his writer, Eli Kaplan. He most often interacts with his
master/boss/writer, known as RL-Eli.

He is a DJ in Nerima, traveling from bar to club to party, and during the day he generally can be found going about town, doing nice things for people, looking for places to throw parties, and meeting people.

Ways to Get Kappa in a GRIT Story

- Use Kappa as a DJ for a party!!
- Kappa does deliveries and general good deeds for people for free. Need a message delivered? Go for it. Death threats? Our specialty. Kappa's skill in dodging and love of danger (to some degree) makes him THE perfect guy for the job.
- Use him as a Random PC Bystander.
- Kappa's quite egotistical about his work and can easily lose his temper if he is called a composer. While not at the fighting power level as.. say, Ryouga, or one of the Heavensruns, Kappa can certainly hold his own in a fight. He rarely starts fights, but his mouth can slip and aggrevate someone into combat at times.
- Kappa likes hanging around MADMs, watching general GRITish insanity and unusual techniques. Occasionally he attempts to practice things he's seen, though he doesn't understand the principles behind them. If your character feels like being a nice guy, Kappa's an eager student, though he won't be very good at ki techniques (due to the fact that his ki fluctuation levels are inhumanly rapid).

Kappa is (mostly) written by Eli Kaplan. Due to this page being crammed with stuff, Kappa's bio has been moved. ^_^

Eli also is the primary writer for Ranmei, an NPC. Ranmei is the original clone of Ranma, dating from Volume 35. More work on her bio to follow.

A recent conspi^D^D^D^Dllaboration (though I still think I should get more of the credit ^_^) , Eli and Tsurugi's Tips On Getting Into GRIT.

Much thanks to Tsurugi-san for making my 2 min. audio sample, and the little .wav file. Both, while not letting you hear me mix, are pretty snazzy.
And for the sake of fairness, I'll also add a link to Tsu's Battle of the Bands entry, which isn't really that bad.

Find out more info on Kappa's writer, Eli Kaplan.
Eli does a radio show, currently named Radio Syndicate.

God, I imagine you're sick and tired of hearing about them, but here's THIS page's links.
