Serenity is standing near an almost colorless painting, peering at it quizically, her hands locked together behind her back.
Prince Endymion slowly descends the stairs, looking pretty cheerful today. His mood brightens instantly though, when he spots a certain someone in the hallway. Quietly, he walks over to her, sneaking up behind her and staring at the same painting.
Serenity is oblivious to any other persons currently in the hall. She stands up straight, now, arms dropping to her side. She glances at that painting one last time before stepping backwards into.... Ooops. Blinkblink.
Prince Endymion oofs a little, so much for surprise. He blinks down at you, smiling all the same though, "Erm.. hello Serenity.." He looks a little embarrassed though, for sneaking around his own palace.
Serenity's cheeks flush faintly, at that. "Good day, Endymion..." She turns to face him, now, smiling lightly. "...Nice to see you again."
Prince Endymion laughs, he is /really/ good mood today, "Indeed, it's nice to... run into you, this afternoon." He does have a bad sense of humor though.
Serenity giggles faintly. "You're looking well..." She notes, winking, almost suggestively...
Prince Endymion nods, still laughing some, "It's a beautiful day.." .oO( And you /don't/ hate me.. ), "..and I feel great!" He exclaims, smiling broadly. .oO( Who cares what the others think, they can't hate me forever, if I'm nice to them.. )
Serenity nods slowly in agreement. "It is... And getting better every minute." Her smile brightens. "I'm glad to hear your feeling better..."
Prince Endymion nods, laughing even louder, "Oh, I have you to thank for that, Serenity." He grins, and bows, "Thank you." He stands again, practically beaming. .oO( I really /haven't/ felt this... confident, since I came here, but how can I not? )
Serenity blushes again, at that... bowing stuff. "Oh.. Err.. Your welcome.. For whatever I did." She mutters, quietly.
Prince Endymion get serious now, reaching out gently to take your hand, gazing at you, "Really Serenity, thanks. After I... er... spoke with Shaline, I didn't think there was any way you could possibly forgive me for what I had done. The very fact that you are willing to forgive me... well... it just really makes me... er... feel strongly about you.." He pinkens slightly, he's never said anything like /that/ before.
Serenity squeezes that hand gently, blushing a bit herself. "Of course I forgave you, Endymion.. I... I feel very strongly about you, too.." Bluuuush.
Prince Endymion nods, squeezing back, his cheeks flushing even a little more, "I... I know, Serenity... do you remember what I said before, when we first... er..." he flushes even more, from embarrassment at slipping up this time though, "I mean... when I first came back, about not knowing how I felt?" Poor Endymion is /really/ nervous right now, he's even trembling... a little.
Serenity blinks in surprise at that, placing a comforting hand on his forearm. "Yes..." She agrees, urging him on.
Prince Endymion flushes red, that forearm trembling nervously. It shouldn't be that hard, he's just being honest, after all, "Well... I know now... I... erm..." He just can't say it though, he just gulps, staring at you. .oO( This is harder than I thought it would be.. )
Serenity blinks again, eyes widening before she smiles reassuringly up at him. "You've no need to be nervous around me, Endymion... What is it you want to tell me?"
Prince Endymion is nervous anyway, but after clearing his throat a few times, he finally manages to blurt it out, "I... I love you... Serenity... you have been so... forgiving with me, how couldn't I?" Well, it's not very romantic, but at least it's a start. He just, stares, nervously, waiting for a reply.
Serenity doesn't really reply... Not verbally, anyway. She blinks, and after a moment, reaches up with both hands, pulling his face closer to hers. "...You know I love you, too...." She whispers, softly, before pressing her lips to his. Sa/mooooch/..
Sumio arrives from the Rose Garden.
Well, /this/ Endymion didn't know that, but he does now! Relieved, he pulls Serenity into a hug, kissing back, not even attempting to say anything, just... enjoying.
Sumio enters the hall from the opposite side, a distant smudge on the horizon. He, as would be expected, is heading back into the library.
Sumio swings the door open and steps into Royal Library.
Serenity flushes faintly, but does smile as Endymion pulls her closer... "I'm glad you feel the same, again..." She mutters, softly.
Prince Endymion hugs Serenity tightly, speaking equally softly, "I do... I mean that. I... I wasn't sure before... but now... I know." He says it again, just to make sure, "I love you, Serenity.."
Luna has connected.
Serenity smiles brightly -- beams, even... "I love you too, Endymion.." She whispers softly, leaning against him.
