Product Policy

Product Descriptions:

COMPU-CLUB aims to bring you the most recent and up-to-date product information possible. Details such as product specifications, benefits, quality and performance claims are provided by the suppliers or manufacturers of the products. This information is reproduced by COMPU-CLUB for our members’ convenience. However, please note that this information is not verified or substantiated by COMPU-CLUB and we cannot be held responsible for any third party’s inaccuracies or omissions.

Discontinued Products:

The majority of items offered by COMPU-CLUB are first quality, new products. However, some items up for bid or clearance are either factory "discontinued" or "remanufactured". This refers to products that have been discontinued by the manufacturer or refurbished to original condition by the manufacturer.

Product Availability:

Although we carefully maintain a high level of stocking inventory, there may be a rare situation when we notify you we are unable to ship your order due to large ordering volume or manufacturer’s back log. We will notify you of your back-order status through e-mail.

Typographical Errors:

COMPU-CLUB is not responsible for any typographical errors or wrong pricing on our site. If the price of an item listed is in error, we will contact you by e-mail and request the order to be confirmed with the corrected pricing.

Cancellation Policy

No cancellation of an order is allowed once the order is processed. You may only request cancellation for an order that is back-ordered. You must cancel your order within the time constraint stated in the e-mail notification of your back-ordered item. The approval for cancellation of an order is not guaranteed.

*If you have ordered an item for a listed price that we feel is incorrect (typographical error), we will request you to confirm the order with the corrected pricing, or cancellation of that order.

Payment Policy

Payment Methods:

Payment by Credit Card

We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Master, Discover (not yet available), and American Express. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. We will only charge your credit card after an item has been shipped.

At this present time we cannot process orders for credit cards with an international billing address or for credit cards issued by a bank outside of the United States.

Please be sure to provide your exact billing address—the address your credit card provider has on file for you—when completing the eMembership form. Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order or bid.

Payment by Cashier Check, Money Order, Personal/Company Check

At the "Check-Out" stand, check the payment by mail option.  Print a copy of the order confirmation, and mail it along with your method of payment to COMPU-CLUB (click here for address).  We will process the order upon reception.  The order will then be shipped as soon as the "check"(or method of payment) has been cleared.

 

Purchase Order

COMPU-CLUB welcomes purchase orders from educational institutions, and government agencies.  A credit application must be submitted and approved before purchase orders can be accepted. The standard term for approved accounts is "Net 20". Please contact our sales representative to help you set up an account.

Sales Tax Policy

An 8.25% sales tax is applied to all orders shipped to addresses in California.  COMPU-CLUB is required by law to collect and submit sales tax in the states in which we are deemed to have a physical presence.

Shipping Policy

Orders received and approved by Credit Department before 1:00PM Pacific Standard Time will be shipped the same day, Monday through Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Any orders received and approved after 1:00PM will be shipped the following business day.

We try to ship most items for receipt within ten business days of auction close.  To maintain the lowest-cost-possible benefit of COMPU-CLUB, we only ship via Federal Express Mail.  We are unable to ship to P.O. Box addresses due to the policies of Federal Express Mail.  We are unable to cancel bids in transit, or redirect packages to another address.

International Shipping:

Unfortunately, we are unable to sell or ship our products to residences outside the United States (or US territory members) or to APOs/FPOs.

Wrong Item Shipped:

We try to ship with great accuracy, but sometimes we make mistakes.   Unfortunately, due to the limited quantities of our merchandise, we are unable to guarantee that a replacement will be available.  If we sent you the wrong item and you would like to return it, we will process your request and gladly pay for your return shipping and credit your account.  Click for assistance if you received the wrong item.

Wrong Quantity Shipped:

Again, due to the limited quantities of our merchandise, we are unable to guarantee that any additional quantity will be available.  We will offer a credit in lieu of a replacement.  If we sent you more units than you ordered for and you would like to return the excess quantity, we will process your request and gladly pay for your return shipping and credit your account. Freight Damage:

If your package was damaged in transit we will process your request and gladly pay for your return shipping and credit your account.  We are unable to guarantee that a replacement will be available so in lieu of a replacement, we will provide a refund.  Click for assistance if your shipment was damaged.

Security and Privacy

COMPU-CLUB recommend you to use a security-enabled browser (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer version 2.1 or greater, or Netscape Navigator 2.0 or above), the information you send us regarding your purchase is encrypted, making it extremely difficult to read even if it is wrongly intercepted. You can tell that your are in a secured environment when the "key lock" icon at the bottom of your browser appears. All information inputted within this page is encrypted and cannot be accessed by anyone else. If your browser does not support secure transactions, any information you send may be viewed by others.

COMPU-CLUB utilizes industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of critically sensitive information like your credit card number. We also integrate Verisign and Cybercash technology into our secure transaction process to further secure your information. In addition, we do not allow products to be shipped to an address other than your billing address unless that shipping information is registered with your credit card company. You can feel just as confident giving out credit card information on-line as you do on the phone, or anywhere else you may use a credit card.

COMPU-CLUB is very much aware of your concerns about the privacy of your information. We have no desire or intention to infringe on your privacy while you are shopping at COMPU-CLUB. When you provide your personal information such as name, address, phone number and company name, we will not give or sell this information to any outside company for any use. The information you provided will be kept confidential and will only be used to support your customer relationship with COMPU-CLUB. Information regarding you or our order and the products you have purchased will be kept strictly confidential.
