About the Head Instructor
Master Khechen has been practicing the art of Tae Kwon-Do for 23 years and is currently a 4th Degree Black Belt.
Originally form Venezuela, Dr. Khechen was a National Champion there at the age of 19. He then came to the United States to pursue his studies, and eventually received his Ph.D at the University of Buffalo. He continues to do part-time research in the field of Space Power Electronic Engineering.
Dr. Khechen is constantly involved in the designing and teaching of all Tae Kwon-Do classes and programs. Since inception, about 200 Black Belts, ages 8 to 71, both male and female, have been trained and graduated.
