- Query Microsoft Access databases for specific populations based on demographic information specified by National Office staff and external customers.
- Use software certified by the United States Postal Service, Postal Soft Desktop Mailer, to produce presorted and non-presorted mailing lists for staff and outside customers in a variety of formats and mediums.
- Operate and maintain all laser printers, impact printers, bursting machines, and tape drives in the Data Center.
- Mount tapes for the network backups on the Legato system and monitors their status daily reporting failures to the Network Administrator.

- Graduated in the honor platoon in basic combat training out of four platoons in a company.
- Graduated second out of a class of originally 77 students in the Army Light Wheel Vehicle Mechanic school which evaluates students through written and hands on examinations while requiring students to maintain military bearing.
- Army Achievement Medal awarded for pulling double duty by successfully completing the Light Fighters Combat Course and efficiently managing a small team to finish front line maintenance.
- One of two soldiers in a company of a 100 soldiers awarded a coin for oustanding service from the Command Sergeant Major of the Maryland Army National Guard.
