Prologue…
** England 1890.
The moon was in its full rein and now the sound of silence filtered
through the historic streets of England. Peace and quiet slumbered
states took the cities people to their beds, hopelessly praying that
they all would awaken the next morning, unharmed and untouched.
A few roamed the city and only the brave could stay sane. Quite
ignored were the many deadly situations that have been re-occuring for
a good five years time. Mystifying agents and police were deaths that
have eluded their minds. Upon solving any murders that have proclaimed
the town, punctures were found multiple times at the neck of the corps
or at times mainly women by their wrist or their breast. A frightening
conclusion, of only the nocturnal creatures of the night were believe
to be the culprit of such serial killing. Nocturnal creatures that
would be at the core of ones nightmares or such horrific novels,
describing and bidding the lifestyles of a vampire.
At the sound of the nine o'clock mark, doors and windows were properly
locked. Those that believe laid many garlic buds around their home and
guarding their doorway with holy relics. Incessently maddening the
towns people did their evenings ritual with the exception of one.
In the higher part of town, a lovely and enchanting young woman stepped
out on her balcony. Unfrightend nor fear lined her beautiful features
as she beckoning her lover to return. Seizing the moment, the fair
maiden wearing of only the sheerest material stood in the midst of her
balcony. The goldest of thread waved in the nights air as she stood
invitingly. Restless the maiden returned to her room leaving her
balcony doors wide open for his unknown entrance. Candles were strewn
and bright lights were denyingly forbidden. Only the soft luminiscent
glow was allowed to light her room.
Humming to her favorite tune she comb the strays out of her silky hair
then settled herself on her down comforted oversized bed.
Across town and at the heart of the country side, a large but yet
quaint castle stood. Ancient and historic the walls of the castle
stated its gruesome past. It's history had everything but joyous past.
The somewhat renovated castle was a torture facility, where the outlaws
or unpaying people were tortured or even murdered. The stones that
hold up were still and remain tainted with blood from centuries time.
Even as horrid and sinister this place had been, it was only of mere
amusement for the people who now reside in them. Dinner was being
lavishly served at the castle and amongst that large table sat five men
talking aimlessly about their evenings adventures or would be plans.
"So where are you two off to tonight?" asked the white hair man to his
light blond hair companion.
"I was invited to dance the night away at Sir. Anthony house." He
arched his brow.
"Many ladies I assume?"
"Indeed. Would any of you like to join me? Perhaps dessert will be
waiting" the man joked.
"I will" said the three with the exception of one handsomely poised
man. Sitting at the end sat a man of high assurance. High cheekbones
sculptured the mans splendid face. Lips full and well lined added more
mystique to his eyes. Even with at the darkest of night, the mans eyes
were never excluded. They were perceptive and very alluring to ones
prey. The dark steel lapis blue still held its gleam. The man was of
mere perfection if it wasn't for his blood thirst hunger.
Many women eluded themselves on his godly features, aching for kisses
and evening affairs with the enigmatic man. With his hunger how could
he resist such innocent pleasures. With all pleasures the women
intended little did they know, that this man liked to play with his
prey. His interest in these women were no more than cold hunger.
"How about you Darien?" asked the white haired man breaking his
thoughts.
"I think Ill leave all the women to you gentlemen this evening" he said
as the clock struck ten. Drinking his red wine he wiped his mouth
clean of any tasteful residue that might linger. He would not and dare
not let his love taste his evenings prey. He stood, motioning to
leave.
"Darien, where are you off to this evening?"
"That my friend is none of your concern" he arched his brow. His
friends knew very well of his evening affair with a mortal and wondered
how long will he subdue himself in such situation. As they watch him
leave they sighed and then returned to their plans.
Darien flew in the night air so gracefully. Gliding through the night
sky his mind raced and his make-believe heart ached to see his mortal
maiden. He had not seen her in days and tonight his need for her was
more than he can bare. The balcony was seen clearly through the
evening star. Open and very inviting to anyone who dares but no-one
with the likes of his kind would dare to enter this room without his
consent. For this room this house was clearly only his to enter and
his to claim. Others that have tried to pursue her have seen the face
that evil thrives on. Their death was never a pretty sight, for this
coveted prize was only his and anyone who dares to touch would fatally
see their end.
Landing graciously on the balcony grounds he entered the room ever so
quietly. Glowing the room smelt of wild flowers, erotically
infiltrating his wild senses. Removing his coat he modestly locked the
doors to the only other entrance in her room. Slowly he strolled over
to her bedside, his eyes a deep glaze as hunger swept in. Lucky for
her, his hunger was not for her blood but for her love. Her figure and
outline teased him through the sheer material that hung over her bed
lightly. Slowly with one sweeping movement he moved the sheets
allowing himself full view of his beautiful nymph. Indeed she was a
blessing to everyones eyes.
