Their recent aquisitions have been seen in most movie theatres in North America, and have been pretty well done, for those who were skeptical about it. Although some hardcore fans careless for the dubbing of these releases, it is bringing those who are new to Anime into the theatres, and joining the Anime Community. Viz.com - Viz Communications, Inc is a company that is putting out some local quality stuff. What I mean is, most of the voice acting is done here in my home town of Vancouver, BC, CANADA, thru Ocean Studios. They come to most conventions like the ones stated below.
Studio Ironcat - Founded by the Bennett Family, their dedication to the art and to their fans is phenominal. This Comic book company has strong ties to Japan, in fact they even have a company up and running there. Representing them at every convention they can go to, is Stephen Bennett IV and Doug Smith. ADVFilms.com - AD Vision is a company that is putting out some entertaining stuff. They started out as a fan sub group and later a commercial company. They come to most conventions like the ones stated below.

Anime Expo - When you talk about conventions, this is tha bomb of all conventions. Hosted by the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA) and held in Long Beach, California for 2003. Hosted at the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach Hyatt Regency Hotel and Long Beach Westin Hotel for the dates of July 3th to July 6th, A FOUR (yes 4 as in the number) DAY EVENT!!!
Sakura-Con 2003 - Hosted by Asia-Northwest Cultural Education Association. Held at the Seatac Hilton, Seattle, Washington. Check it out.
