Hay you all. It’s been at least 6 months, but here it is, finally, the
next chapter for Legend of the Excaliber. Hope you like it.

Legend of the Excaliber - Chapter 9: A Kino Reunion
It was 8 in the morning at the, busy, Tokyo train depot.
People were walking around, getting tickets, checking in bags,
entering and exiting the train that just arrived, and getting their
luggage at the baggage claim. What made this time of day important
was two passengers from the train that just arrived . One was an
Amazon women with red hair done up in a ponytail like Lita’s. Both
she and her husband appeared to be in their mid to late 30s. The man
beside her had black hair, was the women’s height, and was wearing
glasses. The couple were the Kinos. Lita’s parents who were believed
to be dead.
Mrs. Kino asked, “Dear, where are we going to find our
daughter. We know she’s here in Tokyo, but this is a big city, and she
could be anywhere.”
“Well, if you were our daughter with a lot of friends, where
would you go,” Mr. Kino asked.
Both looked at each other and said, at the same time, “The
Mall.”
“Tell that slacking excuse for a General Viper to get his butt
up here!!!” King Onix was not pleased that nothing was done yesterday
to eliminate the Scouts, and Ironite had no luck either, unless you
call the Outer Scouts showing up, and kicking your butt, luck.
A few minutes later, General Viper walked into the Thrown room,
“You wanted to see me your Highness?” Viper could tell the King of the
Negaverse was not in the mood for pleasantries so he stood at
attention.
“Yes , Viper. I want to know if your forming any plans to get
rid of those pests who call themselves the Sailor Scouts, especially
Sailor Selene. She is just as powerful as Sailor Moon, and both the
Scouts of the Moon can be dangerous to our health, so to speak. So,
what’s in that head of yours? Assuming you even have a brain in
there.” Viper cringed at his King’s look. If looks could kill, he’d be
buried all the way to the planet’s core with the venom that he was now
showing as he said, “NOW TELL WHAT YOU PLAN TO DO ABOUT IT, NOW!!!!!”
“Well, um....... er, that is.......,” Viper couldn’t think of a
thing to say that so he came with a plan at the spur of the moment,
“I’ll go get some energy at the park, and when the Scouts come, I’ll
kill them all.” Before he was even dismissed, Viper teleported away.
King Onix just grumbled, “What is it with my Generals and Tokyo
Park these days?”
The Door bell rang and Serena ran down the stairs to answer it.
She opened it to see Molly, and Darien. She let them in, giving Darien
a kiss on his way in, which he returned for while until Molly
interrupted, “Get a room.” Both broke the kiss and blushed. Once the
three got settled, Molly asked, “So, what did you ask me down here for
Serena?”
Serena was grinning ear to ear, (Molly’s going to flip when she
meets Sera.)
<”Ya, I know what you mean.”> Rachel interrupted her thoughts,
surprising Serena in the process.
<”Rachel, what are you doing in my head?”>
<”Serena, contact all the Scouts and come to the mall, FAST!!
We got a Nega monster here.”>
<”On my way.”> Serena cut the link and told Molly and Darien,
just as Rini and Sera came downstairs, “We got trouble at mall guys,
lets get going.”
Molly interrupted, “Wait, who’s the little girl next to Rini?”
Serena grinned wickedly, “Your daughter. Now, everyone
transform.” Molly decided to table the topic till after the fight,
despite her shock, and took out her transformation pen.
“MOON COSMIC POWER”
“MOON PRISM POWER”
“EARTH STAR POWER”
“EARTH POWER”
You know what Darien did.
General Viper didn’t see any activity in the park, so he sent
his Youma to the Mall instead, where people are always going to be.
Once he surveyed the seen he called out, “Tidal Force, show your self.”
A Youma that looked like pure water came out of a drinking
fountain, and solidified into what looked like a normal man, ”You
called?”
“Tidal Force, I want you to create as much damage as you can
till the Scouts arrive. Once they’re here, destroy them,” Viper
instructed. The youma agreed and descended to the mall’s first floor
and began throwing water based attacks at every one.
Lita and Rachel were shopping in mall. It was busy and the two
had been shopping for hours. It just turned lunch time, so the two
decided to go to the food court. They got there only to see a Youma
wrecking havoc all over the place. Rachel informed Lita she sent a
message to Serena, and the two ran into a secluded area, and took out
their transformation pen and brooch.
Mr. and Mrs. Kino had just arrived at the Tokyo mall by this
point. The two decided to go to the food court and eat before starting
to inquire about Lita. They’d only been their a short time when a
Youma appeared and started destroying the place. They tried to find a
place to hide when the Youma had the two Kinos cornered, and grabbed
them. The two began to struggle and hit the youma, but their hands
just went through the Youma like he was water. That’s when two voices
shouted, “HOLD IT!” The youma turned to see Sailor Jupiter and Selene
ready for action, and they gave their speeches.
“I’m Sailor Jupiter and I don’t kid around. Thunder is my
power so beware.”
“I’m Sailor Selene, older sister to Sailor Moon, and if you
think she’s bad, wait till you feel my power.”
The Youma turned to face the Scouts with its hostages, “Try to
attack me, and you’ll hurt these two people.”
Lita gasped in surprise, horror and shock. It wasn’t that the
Youma had hostages that scared Jupiter, but who they were. The two
most important people in her life she thought she’d never see
again........... her parents. Jupiter went into a rage after she
recovered, “YOU LET THEM GO, RIGHT NOW!!!!!”
The Youma laughed, “Oh, really. And why should I do that?”
Jupiter lost all rational thought and said the one thing the
Kinos didn’t expect to here from a Sailor Scout, let alone one that
looked similar to their daughter, “YOU MESS WITH MY FAMILY, YOU MESS
WITH ME.” Mr. and Mrs. Kino’s eyes bugged out as they now knew who
Sailor Jupiter was as she raised her antenna to attack, “JUPITER.”
Lightning began to form and strike her antenna that was on top of her
tiara, “THUNDER.” Jupiter took the lightning and formed it into her
desired attack before letting it fly, “DRAGON.” Lita concentrated on
her attack and it slammed into the Youma with enough force to free the
Kinos. They immediately fell to the floor before they got back up and
ran out of the battle area, but not so far that they would lose sight
of their daughter.
The Youma got hurt very badly from the attack. The attack
itself was not as powerful as Jupiter’s Thunderclap attack, but it was
an attack she could aim with the best precession, should she ever need
to be exact. As it got up, it was hit by Sailor Selene’s attack.
“CRYSTAL SELENE SHIVER”
Unfortunately, Sailor Selene’s attack only went right through
the Youma, “What?!?!” The Youma began to grin, and was about to
attack when Lita attacked with her more powerful attack.
“JUPITER THUNDERCLAP ZAP.”
The attack hit, and the Youma went flying backwards till it
splashed into a wall. Selene and Jupiter thought it was finished,
until it reshaped itself into it’s original form, but it looked badly
hurt. The Youma sent attacks at Selene and Jupiter, knocking them
both down. Mr. and Mrs. Kino were about to go against better judgment
and intervene when someone said, “Hold it!” The Kinos and Youma turned
to see four more Sailor Scouts, and a tuxedo clad man. Two of the
Scouts looked like 6 yr. olds, and the blond teenaged one said, “I am
Sailor Moon, the champion of justice, and on behalf of the Moon, I’ll
punish you.”
“I’m Sailor Earth, and I wouldn’t continue this attack if I
were you.”
“I’m Sailor Chibi Moon, and I’ll punish you.”
“I’m Sailor Chibi Earth, and I’ll punish you too.” The monster
didn’t give Tuxedo Mask the time to do his speech and attacked them.
Every one scattered and attacked.
“PINK SUGAR HEART ATTACK.”
“ROSE PETAL FURRY.”
“MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK.”
“TORNADO STORM BLAST.”
The Youma dodged Sailor Moon’s attack, and the other three,
plus Darien’s rose went right threw the Youma, and Sailor Moon said,
“No way!!” Seeing that Mercury wasn’t there yet, Sailor Moon took out
her visor and began scanning the Youma. She discovered that its
greatest weakness was lightning, since it was made purely of water.
Before she knew what she was doing, Sailor Moon crossed her hands in
front of her, and a lightning rod began to rise from her tiara.
Jupiter, to her shock, noticed what was about to happen and extended
her rod as well, and they both attacked.
“JUPITER THUNDER STAR.”
“JUPITER THUNDERCLAP ZAP.”
Both attacks hit, and the Youma fell to its knees. It was
about to get up when it heard, “MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK.” The Youma
turned into dust right after those words.
Just as the Youma was dusted someone said, “I’m Sailor Mars
and......... where is it? Sailor Moon you could saved some for me you
know.” Serena turned to see Sailor Mars with a pout on her face as
Ray was thinking, (Shoot, I was hoping to vent my frustration on a
Youma instead of Chad. He’s a lousy singer, but I didn’t want to hurt
him.).
Jupiter interrupted, “Sorry to jet guys, but I got uhhhhhh
something to do.” With that, Sailor Jupiter left, and went into a
deserted restroom to detransform. As soon as she walked out, she
looked right into her parents face one second before she rushed into
their waiting arms.
“VIPER, YOU STUPID GENERAL, GET YOUR LOUSY BUTT IN HERE,” Viper
wasted not time and appeared in the throne room on command to see a
King Onix so mad, steam was coming out of his ears. (UH OH!!) Was
Viper’s only reply before Onix said, “Viper, not only were you lazy
yesterday, but you left today’s battle area before it was over, and
neglected to ensure the Scout’s destruction. No more excuses. Next
time you either finish at least one of them off, or never set foot in
the Negaverse again. Is that clear, General Viper?” Viper, now very
frightened, only nodded before he was dismissed.
A few hour later, at the Cherry Hill Temple, everyone, except
for Lita was there having a meeting. The topic was any and all
information on the Lunar Excaliber. Serena spoke up first, “Rachel,
Luna told us a little about the Excaliber of the Moon, but she didn’t
say what happened to it or anything else. What do you know about it?”
Everyone was looking at Rachel for this answer as she said,
“Well, it’s a very powerful sword made specifically for the Sailor
Scout of Selene.”
“The Goddess of the Moon,” Amy asked.
“Yes, but don’t ask anything else there. It’s a long
complicated story and I don’t understand it fully myself. As I was
saying. The sword was meant for every Sailor Selene to use. How ever
it’s power was proven to be very difficult to control. The first
Sailor Selene, so far, is the only person who has ever used it. I was
almost the second during the Silver Millennium when I, as Luna put it,
disappeared. As to where the sword is, I don’t know. The only thing
I do know is that the Silver Crystal is the key to unlocking it.”
“Unlocking it,” Serena asked.
“That’s all I know. Mother said that when I was ready for the
Excaliber, that the Crystal would unlock it,” Rachel explained.
Just then, the door to the fire room opened part way to show
Lita, “Sorry I’m late guys, but something came up that I had to do.”
Serena became suspicious, “Lita, why are you keeping the door
only part way open?”
Lita just grinned, “I brought some people I’d like you all to
meet.” With that Lita opened the door the rest of the way to show two
adults standing there. One was an amazon women with red hair done up
like Lita’s, the other was a man and he had short black hair, and was
wearing glasses.
Ray asked, “Lita, who are they?”
“Guys, I’d like you all to meet my parents.” The replies Lita
got were:
Serena: ‘Thunk’
Amy: ‘Thunk’
Ray: ‘Thunk’
Mina: ‘Thunk’
Travis: ‘Thunk’
Haruka: “Hello!”
Michiru: “Nice to meet you!”
Hotaru: “How do you do!”
Rini: “I though Lita told us you were dead.”
Setsuna: “It’s nice to meet you.”
Molly: “Now I know where Lita got her looks.”
Sera: “Why did all the inners faint, ‘sagi?”
Rachel: “How are you?”
Mark: “Rach, wake up your sister.”
The ones that fainted came to shortly afterwards, and Serena
almost fainted again, while the rest went into shock, when Mrs. Kino
said, “It’s a pleasure to meet you too, Sailor Moon.”
Before anyone did anything else Lita said, “They were the
hostages at the fight in the mall today. They figured out who I was
and once they find one, it doesn’t take a rocket scientists to figure
out who everyone else is.” The group talked until supper time, and
everyone went home. Lita left early so she could give her parents
direction to her apartment. Sera went with her ‘mommy’ to the Baker
house to spend the night.
Later that night, Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna met in a
deserted park. It was after dark, so they wouldn’t be seen. Haruka
asked, “Ok, Setsuna, why’d you call us here?”
The Scout of time only said two words, which were enough for
the her two friends to comprehend, “It’s time.” With that, they took
out their talismans and got to work.
