3RD Attack

3D Cammy for Playstation Magazine
This picture I made as a fan-art for PSM (Playstation Magazine).

Well, as you can see, I finally got to it. This is what was until now known secretly as "operation 3RD Attack", without the R. With my incredible powers I have created a 3D model of Cammy White. Quite impressive, ne?

I made the model just after I finished my 2nd prototype of lara croft. Actually, I made it for Stefan (Cammyfan.com), at first I wasn't sure if I felt like making Cammy. But it turned out great! It didn't get in the PSM though. aargh!
I gave her movable eyes (7-1-2001), so now I'm finally ready for more action!
Below are three pictures which show the progress during the making of the model. I had 90% finished in just 3 days!! That was really fast. After that I worked on it once and a while for 2 weeks, details and little things, and then it finally was finished.

INFO

My cammy model exists of 33615 polygons. One of her pigtails alone counts up to 4500 of that. Normal playstation 1 3D character models are made up of averagely 500 to 600 polygons. What does that all mean?! It means this model is VERY detailed. You could look at it from the perspective of a fly, and you still wouldn't notice any square edges. She even has movable shoelaces.
The model was made in a 3D program called "Truespace 3.0". Unfortunately, that program did not have skin stretching capabilities, so the elbow joints look a bit edgy.

Check out my first 3D movie of Cammy!!!

and another image is finished.

I was busy animating, and this stance came along. It looked good, so I made an image of it. I think it would make a nice movie poster, but there should be more on the background.
I have great plans with my Cammy model. If only Stefan would put my stuff on his page, maybe operation 3D Attack would get on. oh well, I'm working on nevertheless.
