Out in the Infinities
by Hotaru/Amber
Out in the Infinities
I lay down to rest.
Stars begin to blink out,
One by one,
A coldness stirring,
In my chest.
Silence consuming,
A black nothingness.
This is the infinity in which I live,
At rest with the eternities,
Of life and of death.
A shining blue star,
So many galaxies away,
Holds my only happy memories,
And for them, I will pray.
The Silence in my heart,
It will come for it too,
My sparkling blue Earth.
When my soul is weary,
When my heart grows tired.
When the light of the Firefly
shines
No more.
Until then, I live this life,
In these infinities of space,
And place an endless Silence,
Between that Earth and me.
