I walk faster - The street seems to fade - The city a blur around me - I feel like a bird on wing. Faster! Why?! Faster! Why am I here? Why? Wall - water - pain. Light/dark Painful/Soothing Memory/Lost I fall to my knees - Sitting in a puddle. Tears - tears - tears Why? As they fall - One by one - They splash in the water below. Why?! And I look down - And three faces seem to appear. The three of us... "Shelley..." So... "Sarah..." That's why... "Shelley..." I reach out... Touch her face... Which vanishes with a ripple.
