What you will see here are mostly obscure, very rare, and prototype systems. Most will never be emulated or heard of, but all have played an important part. The Pippin, for example, inspired web TV, which inspired netlink for Saturn, and now, the DC modem. The FM towns marty was a PC component based console (Sound familiar???) that was designed as the first game / modem set top box. The Famicom Twin had a floppy disk drive, which inspired the DD64, and the PSX/Xbox Hard Disk. What you see here are the roots of the systems we play today.
