Story 2
woooohooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as you can see, i just got back from the weezer concert @ nimitz hall!!!!!!!!!!
I saw the security gaurd checking people's bags and stuff, and I freaked out cause I brought a camera....so I stuffed it into my socks and i did get away with it!! :) then we got into nimitz, and me and ashley went over to where they were selling shirts, and I got a green one that says "weezer" and has a little dude on it...they were $20!! wow, pretty expensive..but I still got one.
WEEZER came running onto the stage to the Family Feud theme (i think) and we all freaked out!!!!!!!
Rivers said "aloha!"
There was a big fight in the middle of the mosh pit, and that kinda sucked cause I had to move back a little, and it was hard to see the band.
Rivers was head-banging and jumping around, and looked like he was having a great time!!! In "getchoo" he put on this cowboy hat and was dancing around. Matt was really funny..he kept making all these weird noises and screaming..hehe..They played "undone" and then they went off the stage, and
everyone was like "weezer! weezer! weezer! weezer!" after awhile, they
came back on and played some country song and we all clapped with the band.
They played "tired of sex" and "el scorcho" and at the end Rivers said "this last song is for all the surfers" (or at least that's what i think he said)
and they ended the concert with "surf wax america". Me and ashley ran out of nimitz to see if we could find the band, and i did see them running out to
the elevator, so we chased after them along with about 4 other screaming die-hard weezer fans.
We ran up the stairs cause we missed the elevator, and were yelling out to them...I was like "RIVERS!!!!!!!" and the other girls who were with us were like "we love you!!!!!!! We love you more than our life!!!!!!" Matt did turn around, and winked at us!!! Rivers had a towel over his head and was walking pretty fast.
anywayz, we did catch up to them and
Matt and Pat signed the front of my weezer cd (the blue cd paper). I didn't
see Matt, but I did shake hands with Pat, he was looking great!!! I gave him
a little flying weezer sign made of cardboard and nail polish :) he was like
"oooh, two colors" (cause i painted both sides 2 different colors). He thanked me and smiled at me!! Then
Rivers came out with the towel and I gave him a little green plastic squeaky frog, I was like "hey rivers, here's a present for you." he smiled at me and took it and was looking at it and said "thanks"woohoo!! hehe I was soooo happy!!!!!
I asked Rivers for a hug and he said
"sure, but can you wait a sec cause i have to brush my hair" (his hair was a
mess, but i thought he looked fine). There were only about 15 people over
there meeting the band--it was soooo cool!!!!!
when Rivers came out, people
were asking him if he was ever coming back here and he said "no probably not" he also said that they weren't going to be playing for another
year...Some girl asked him for his towel he was using and he gave it to her!!
no fair!!! I want Rivers' towel!!!!!!!!!! I asked Rivers for a hug, again, and
he said "sure" so he gave me a big bear-hug and asked me how old i was...
when i told him, he was like "awww darn" hehe. Ashley got a hug from Rivers too!!!
I had Rivers sign my paper, and also my shirt--I'm never going to wash
my shirt!!!!!! he hugged me AND signed my shirt!!!!!!! wooohoooo!!!! Rivers
is the best!!!!!!! he was so nice to all the people out there, answering all
their questions and talking a lot. he said that they were going out to LA for
the benifit concert in a few days. I asked Rivers if I could have a picture
with him and he said "yeah, sure" so Ashley took the last pic of my roll of me w/Rivers!!!!! and he put his arm around me!!!!!!!!! ahhhh!!!!
