| Cid's dream to fly through space in a rocket brought SHINRA and all mechanics around the world to Rocket Town, his home town. But his dream was not to come true this early in the game! As the count down began and Cid got the rocket ready to blast off, he noticed that someone was still in the lower part of the rocket, which would soon be hot enough to fry anything. It was Shera, one of Cid's assistant mechanic/helpers. |  |
| Cid radios down to the room she is in and she tells him why she is there. There is something wrong with one of the tanks of the rocket and she was checking and fixing the tank so that the blast off and Cid's mission will not fail. There is no way out for Shera. When the rocket blasts off she will automatically be killed. Yet, Shera tells Cid to complete his dream, to blast off and forget about her. It comes down to Shera's life or his dreams. In the last seconds as the rocket is just taking off Cid turns off the rocket and it falls back to the earth, saving Shera. |

Cid had a air plane called the Tiny Bronco, but it was shot
down by SHINRA's men. Cid later becomes the Captain of the
Highwind, a famous airship. Okay, now about Cid and his kick @ss self! Even though he curses, Cid is like a true gentlemen, offering his... um.. "hospitality" and the such. There is this feeling, a untouchable coolness to Cid. He gives you the old veteran war fighters feeling. The pilot coat, goggles, and cigarettes complete this man. Also, it is just the way he fights and ends the battles! Not to mention he is hot! You just can not explain him, you got to play him. Many people see his charm, though what it is that draws you? Who knows! Cid just is the man of Final Fantasy 7! |
