Although flowers cannot speak, we really can express ourselves to others using the language of flowers because many flowers have special meanings. And if you are smart enough, you may compose a love letter with a bouquet of flowers. Ever since there is history, human beings have associated flowers with many things they could thing of, especially about feelings and love. And have you noticed the flowers in CLAMP's manga Wish? CLAMP have made the flowers to be a tool to carry the message between God and the angels, just like a tape recorder. Yet, this idea is not original, as flowers have long used to carry message from person to person (though they didn't turn into an energy that zaps into our hearts ^_^).
