"One thing for sure, my son was not an elitist. He would never have wanted his music to be known only among a small "inner circle" of friends. His favourite moments in life were when he was delivering his music to his fans, those people who were now weeping and mourning his passing all over the world... playing Grace full blast over and over because that's all they had of him to listen to." - MG (Jeff's mother)
The sole purpose of this page is to do just that... to ensure that Jeff's music is continued to be offered to the world and especialy to those who have yet to be graced by Jeff's spirit. My aspiration for this page is that I just might reach one person who has never heard of Jeff Buckley before, and from this connection, even one person can find hope and understanding in his or her life through his impassioned words. |

Everything I have basically ever thought and felt about Jeff has been retold on this web site THE VOICE OF AN ANGEL. It is a prime example of how Jeff graces the lives of those he touches. His music is timeless, and those who discovered jeff back in 1993 and 1994 with Sin-e and Grace know just what perfection sounds like on a cd. Click here for more info. |

"Why do we love Jeff so much? Simple, he moved mountains of hearts and souls. To listen to Jeff Buckley.... is one of the most divine things I have ever experienced. It's like flying, soaring on the voice of an angel right into the heart." - Kasafeh (Kasafeh's Emporium Jeff Buckley Tribute) |

In Kasafeh's sound shower you'll find beautiful words paying tribute to "an angel of music", along with an article from Black Book 'zine and a trading list. The remaining portion of Cat's page is interesting and creatively done. Explore more than the sound shower, you just might enjoy yourself! :) |

This is the Cover of the DREAM BROTHER book Beth wrote... I'm in the process of trying to find the addy (lost it) where you can read a segment of the book, but click on this text HERE or on the piccy and you can order it at OYSTER PUBLICATIONS.. The book isn't about Jeff, but more about what the music has inspired her to write. Dream Brother is a story all its own. |

JBMT : The Jeff Buckley Memphis Tribute...
(For those people familiar with this page...) Updated 04/25/00
How time brings us new endevours!
The last time I updated this page, I had newly ended my "Tears From the Clouds" newsletter on AOL, and had partnered up with Mary Guibert, as the Managing Editor of what would become JBIN. I was the managing editor through the first 4 issues, and had articles in both issue 6 and 7 (although not credited with them.) Since parting from JBIN last October ('99), I have been focused on a new project.
Last December, a close friend and I formed the begining plans for a Jeff Buckley Tribute this fall in Memphis. Jackie and I are both from North Carolina, and we decided that holding a celebration for Jeff in Memphis (since noone has done so thus far) would be perfect. For more information, as it becomes available, please go to the link provided above.
Sincerely, Dawn Landis

Jewel Box
I know you're a woman by the way you burn below. I'll tell you secrets so good you'll never tell a soul. Come closer, that bonfre holds this life like stones. My years, my life unknown. Diamonds from the pavement where the broken glass had been, Just like these troubles that I'm leaving to the wind. Like sapphires in boxcars speeding towards the end. Like thieves, my bad luck grows.
Jewel box of sadness, bring to catch your tear. Crystalise illusion shine, forgot I'm here. Jewel box of sadness, bring to catch your tear. Oh, you left some stars in my belly.
Star crossed child's love on the bands of wedding gold. Silver studs of promise hide in the red crushed velvet folds. Inaction, intention, like emeralds I stole. My speech of custom gold. I think I ought to know.
Jewel box of sadness, bring to catch your tears. Crystalise illusion shine, forgot I'm here. Jewel box of sadness, Bring to catch your tears. Oh, you left some stars in my belly. You left some stars in my belly. You left some stars in my belly. |

Gunshot Glitter
Don't you wanna let go of your heart, Or you resist the beds of bliss. Fortune makes fools of us all My dear materialista, silence was insane, The parting was mutual.
Don't you want the rocker to rock out? There's room fo us both to fly. Tell the man I'm never coming back again, Why should you notice at all? Gone again beside you will fall down, Down to the sea, out of the skies Of gold cards and casual tears, I have only come to see you shine. Feminine smiles the right side is wiser, more than I. I wanna be your lover. Lipstick my name across your mirror. Blood red with flaked gunshot glitter
And be one with all the disown in your young life. You paranoia politican diva. You paranoia politican diva. Will you let go of your heart, Left behind a hypnotising swirl. The semi's left behind.
Don't you want the rocket to rock? There's room for both of us to fly Same show every day, don't have to blow up in the sky. So I just came from hick town, Left my coins behind. Maybe some poor clone's gonna buy himself a line. Why should you care if I crash your affair? Why should you notice me? I really wanna see you shine. I wanna be your lover, Lipstick my name across your mirror. Now, be one with all you disown. |

Mother dear, this world's so cold. No one cares about love anymore. What will you say, when you see my face. Father can you hear me.? Do you know me.? Do you even care.. what will you say when they take my place ? My heart can't take this anymore.. anymore... |
|
|
It's in your heart, it's in your art, your beauty. Even in this world of lies, there's purity, You've got innocence in your eyes. Even in this world of lies, you're still hopeful. Very sexy. Okay, okay. |
