I am a fan of Smap when i read this report it make my thoughts of hk's reporters worse. Before this Ihave thought of hk's reporters to be reporting rubbish. they never report truths & like to dig into people's privite lives. Goro may not be as famous as takuya but he is a good singer and is good at playing guiter.

This reporter had made a grave mistake for writing this. For sure, he had not did prepared his homework. Goro was very popular in the show' hatachi no yakusoku'. It's just that his character is quiet that does not prove that he is dependent on Smap to be

If you have read what I said in your guestbook, you'll know that the HK media's attitude towards Goro is my major concern. This piece from TVB Weekly is one of the reasons why I am so concerned. They can't even get their facts right about Shingo or Tsuy
shi. The names of the dramas they have quoted are wrong.
Writing in to the editors will not help at all. They get hate mail from Leon Lai fans all the time and see if they care! This is a very passive way of solving the matter.
The only active and constructive way to show the media how big a group and how dedicated we are, is to organize a fan meeting in Hong Kong, take some photos and print it in magazines.
I have already proposed this before and I would like to stress the importance of this again. Gather all Goro fans in Hong Kong together for a tea party. We can talk about our idol and watch some videos together. We can then report this meeting (with ph
tots) in a magazine.
I am not trying to start an unofficial Goro Fan Club in HK. I'm just talking about an occassional meeting. Even Takuya fans do not have publicized meetings in HK. We can be the first and that will show the media something.
I have contacts with some magazines in HK and I think I can help with getting the report of the meeting printed, even if it is only in Japanese Pop Idol magazines like J Point.
