			JUPITER KNIGHT PART VI

"Darien, look. It's Lita and Ken!" Serena said excitedly.
"What are they do here so early?" Darien asked as he squinted
into the sunrise.
"The same thing we're doing here, muffin. Looking at the
sunrise."
Serena snuggled farther into Darien's arms. They were on a
hill just on the outskirts of Tokyo. The sun had just began to
rise, lighting up the sky with it's vivid colors.
Ken and Lita were sitting about 100 yards infront of Darien and
Serena. They thought they were alone, but they weren't.
Lita noticed that Ken was awfully quiet so far. >I wonder why
Ken brought me up here, so early too<
"Ken. What's wrong? Why are you so quiet?" she asked.
Ken just stared blankly into her eyes. Finally, he spoke, "I'm
just depressed."
Lita tried an attempt to cheer her boyfriend up. She held out
both her hand, raised them above her head, and tilted her face. She
smiled and said cheerfully, "Lita Kino at your service! Feeling blue?
I can help." She said that in her commercial voice.
Ken just smiled sadly, and reached over to carress her cheek. He
sighed, and closed his eyes.
Lita was beginning to worry about him. It was not like Ken to
be so down. "Tell me what's wrong, Ken. Please, I can help."
Ken's eyes blinked open, and he said, "In a few days, I'll have to
go."
    "Go where?"
"I was accepted as a foriegn exchange student to France. I really
want to go, but I don't want to leave you." Ken said at once.
Lita, who was struck off guard at that, gasped. "How long will
you be gone?" she managed to ask.
"The rest of the school year, and the summer. I'll come back
before the next school year starts."
Lita did some quick calculations, and figured that since it was
still Spring, then Ken would be gone for half a year. That was six
whole months without Ken. "I'll miss you." Lita croaked.
>beg him to stay!< her mind yelled at her.
"I'll stay if you want me to. In case something happens." Ken quickly
added.
"No. Everything's been peaceful. I don't think anything will happen.
Go to France." Lita said.
Ken tried not to notice the pain in her eyes. He wanted to stay,
but he also wanted to go. "I'm leaving tomorow. I have to go home
and pack my bags soon."
    "So soon?" Lita asked.
"I'm sorry. Do you really want me to go?" he asked once again.
"Yes. I know you wanted to go for a long time. You should go. I'll
be okay." Lita lied.
"My flight is at 2:30 in the afternoon. Can you meet me there tommorow?
I want to say goodbye." Ken asked
    "Ofcourse."
Ken reached over an kissed her full on the lips, and stood up. "Do
you need a ride?" he asked.
Lita fought to hold back her tears. If she cried now, it would keep
Ken from going. "No. I'll stay here a while."
    "Bye."
    "Bye."
Ken ran to the bottom of the hill, and jogged over to his motorcycle.
With a wave to Lita, he put on his helmet, and speeded back to the city.
When Lita was sure that he wasn't going to come back, she let her tears
go. She put her head in her arms, and cryed her heart out. She was still
sobbing when she felt someone tap on her shoulder. Wiping her tears with
her sleeve, she looked up. Serena and Darien stared at her with wide
eyes.
"What's wrong Lita?" asked Serena as she took a seat on the
lush green grass next to her crying friend.
"Maybe she wants to be alone." Darien told Serena. Sometimes,
she could get pretty nosy.
"No. That's okay. Stay." Lita sobbed.
"What did Ken say to you?" Serena asked.
	"You guys saw us."
"Yeah. Sorry if we were being nosy, but we were sitting behind
you." Darien apologized.
"He's leaving!" Lita cried as new tears began to flow.
"What? What do you mean he's going to leave?" Serena asked gently.
"He's going to France on a foreign exchange project for half a year."
Lita sobbed. "I won't see him for six months!"
"Why don't you ask him to stay?" Darien suggested.
"I can't do that. I know he wanted to do this for a long time. I
can't hold him back." Lita said.
"Maybe I should go talk to him." Serena said.
"NO. If you do, then he won't go, and then it'll be my fault that
he didn't get to go. No one is going to mention this. Okay?" she said.
    There was only silence.
    "Okay?" Lita repeated.
"Okay." Serena and Darien agreed grudgingly.
Lita got up, wiped her face, and walked away. "Remember not to mention
to Ken." she shouted over her shoulder at the two.
They nodded and watched Lita walk down the hill, and waited at the
bus stop. When the bus came to take her to town, they were still on
the hill, watching her leave.
    "Poor Lita." Serena finally said.
"I never saw her like that." Darien replied.
"Yeah, she really likes Ken. A lot."
"I like you a lot too." Darien said mischieviously.
    "Oh really?" Serena challenged.

Two brothers rented an apartment in the middle of town. As soon as all
the furniture was moved in, they quickly shut the door.
"Is that all?" Galdon asked his brother, Calbrom.
"Yes. That is all." Calbrom answered.
Galdon flopped down onto the sofa, exhuasted. Calbrum sat across
from him. The two looked like opposites of each other on first glance,
one was tall and handsome, the other was short and not. A second look
showed that they shared the same facial features. They were twins.
    "I'm pooped out." Calbrum exclaimed.
    "Me to."
    "Let's get some energy."
    "Right on brother."
The two brothers tore open a large box, and each reached in. Out came
two cats. Both brothers held their cats tightly in their hands, and
sucked the animals of it's energy. They threw the limp cats out the
apartment windown down into the alley.
"Who will be our next victim?" Galdon asked.
    "With luck, Sailor Jupiter."
Galdon and Calbrum grinned evily, and laughed their evil laughter that
filled the room.

Ken waited in the airport, a duffle bag in one hand. He had already
put the rest of his luggage on the ramp to the plane, but now he
was looking for Lita. >I hope she comes< he thought urgently to himself.
Finally, he spotted some girls walking through the crowd in line to get
into the airport.
"Ken." Lita shouted. She was carrying a bag. As she got
closer, Ken saw that it was the lunch bag she always brought to school.
>is she going to eat lunch here< he asked.
"Lita. I'm glad you came." That was no lie. He knew how much
bravery it took Lita to even set foot in an airport. After her parents
died in that terrible accident, Lita didn't even dare to look at a plane.
"Ken. We're all going to miss you." Serena spoke for the
rest of the girls.
Ken looked around at his friends, the scouts. Ami, Mina, Rei,
Serena, and Darien. Too bad Reeni had to go back.
"I'm going to miss you guys too." Ken said, "Can I talk to Lita
alone?"
"Sure." Darien answered. He led Serena and the others to
some seats, and Ken took Lita's hands and guided her into a corner in
the room.
"God, I miss you already." Lita whispered.
"Lita, I love you. Don't you ever forget that." Ken said. He
started getting closer to kiss her, but Lita brought something up. It
was her lunch bag. She handed it to him.
"I packed you supper so you don't have to eat the airline food." Lita
said.
"Thanks." Ken took it, and put it in his duffle bag. >Good old
Lita, always thinking of someone else.< he thought.
Ken pulled her up to him, and embraced her. He gently placed
his lips down on hers, and savoured their last kiss together.
"Flight 17 boarding call!" the speaker boomed.
The two of them reluctantly pulled away. Ken stared into those
mesmerizing emerald eyes of hers, trying to capture it in his mind. He
tried to memorize every detail about her. His hand went into his pocket,
and brought something out. Ken took Lita's hand, placed an object
in them, and closed her hand up. Lita began to open her fist, and
look at what it was, but Ken touched her hand again.
"No. Not until I leave." he said.
"Last call. Flight 17." the speaker boomed again.
"I love you." Lita mouthed to him. The look in her eyes showed
him all the love she had for him. She didn't need to speak it.
Ken embraced Lita again, smelling the scent of her soft hair. That
was going to be one thing that he wouldn't smell for a long time. Lita
took in the scent of his clothing. It wasn't like body odor, more
of a scent. She could smell a thousand people, but only one
could smell like him. That was just Ken. Reluctantly, Ken
unwrapped his arms from her, and picked up his duffle bag. They
walked toward the others.
	"Bye." Ken said.
"See you in August." Serena said.
	"Goodbye." the others said.
Ken turned to Lita, looking right into her enchanting eyes that
were so full of sadness now. "I'll write you."
	"You better." Lita said, "Bye."
	"Goodbye."
Ken walked into the tunnel that led into the plane, never turning
around. Another look back, into Lita's eyes would mean he had to stay. He
forced himself to walk straight into the plane. When he boarded, was
when he let out a sigh. The decision was made. He was going.
Lita clutched the silky object in her hand tightly as she
watched the plane leave the ground.
"Lita, I think you should sit down. You don't look so good." Mina
said.
They led Lita to a seat, and watched her intently.
"What are you holding?" Rei asked.
Lita remembered what Ken had said. She slowly brought her fist
up to eye level, and slowly opened it. A dark green material was bunched
up in a ball. Lita knew what it was even before she straightened it out.
It was the tie Jupiter Knight wore. She smelled it. It was Ken's
scent.
	"Is that his?" Darien asked.
"Yes." Lita broke down, sobbing hard. Tears splashed on the
tie.
"Lita. He'll be back. Don't worry." Mina tried to confort her
friend.
"No he won't. He's going to find a French girl, and forget all
about me!" Lita sobbed. "Or his plane will crash, I'll get a phone
call in the middle of the night, and they'll say he died!"
Lita was being hysterical. She knew those were stupid ideas,
but she couldn't help it.
"None of those things will happen, Lita." Rei said.
"Yes it will! Everyone I love has gone down in a crash! He'll
go down into the sea, and no one will ever find his body!" Lita screamed.
Rei reached over and slapped her. "Get a hold of yourself! You're
going hysterical. I'm sorry I had to slap you, but you weren't listening
to anything."
"That's alright." Lita took a deep breath and tried to keep
herself under control.
"I think you we should take you home." Darien suggested.
"Yeah, let's go to your house, and we can play with the new
Sailor V game I got." Serena agreed.
Lita let them take her home, but she didn't really want to play
video games. She just wanted to mope around the house.

At her house, Lita was holding a controller, but not doing anything.
Serena was kicking her butt in the new Sailor V fighting game. The game
over sign flashed onto the screen.
"Lita you're not playing!" Serena said, waving a hand in front
of her face.
"I just don't feel like doing anything." Lita said. She put the
controller down, and sat on the sofa.
Rei's angry face stared down at her. "You can't just stay here
feeling sorry for yourself until Ken comes back. Do something to pass
the time. Soon, you'll feel so great, he'll be back in no time." she
shouted.
"Yeah Lita. Why not come and join the volley ball team. We need
an extra player. It will help you pass the time." Mina said cheerfully.
"You're right." Lita said in a determined voice. "I'm going
to join something. Volleyball. I like that."
"Good for you, Lita." Serena cheered on.
"Now, it's time to kick butt!" Lita shouted as she grabbed the
video controller and started to beat Serena's character up.
"Hey. Not so rough!" Serena whined.

Galdon smiled dementively into the window. He couldn't wait to
go on with their plan. First, they had to enroll into the same school as
Sailor Jupiter, and then, lure her into their perfectly laid out trap. He
turned around when he heard the door slam. He pushed aside his semi long
platnium blonde hair that hung over his eyes, and looked at who
came in.
His brother Calbron grinned like a chesire cat, "Guess what I
found out?"
Galdon sat on the sofa, "What, brother?"
"Sailor Jupiter is named Lita. Lita Kino. She goes to Juuban
Junior High. Shall we go on with the plan?"
	"Yes. Go on." Galdon urged.
Caldron tossed his brother a picture of Lita. "First, you and I
shall attend the school, act like normal humans. Yuck. Then, you
will get her to like you. Lure her into the apartment, then it's bye bye
Sailor Jupiter!"
Galdon looked at the picture of a girl with reddish brown hair
smiling back at the camera. "Yes. I win her heart, then crush it like
the human she is. Perfect."
Galdon crushed the picture up in his fist, and lit it on fire
with his eyes.
"Let's go enroll into the school. Right now, my ordinary human
brother Don."
	"Yes, human brother Cal."
The two of them grinned like chesire cats on the demented side, and
walked out out the apartment.
