Outlanders is definitely a movie out of the ordinary! From what I gathered from it, Earth is a sacred planet to some alien society who goes to wipe of the intruders (humans) that are inhabiting it. That's the basic backbone of the story, so if you want more, then see it.
The violence of the movie isn't TOO great. Just a few stab wounds here and there, and a little blood squirting every once in a while. :^)
The sexual content is a little more higher rated than the violence. It seems to me, that sex is sort of the basic theme; or at least it's the topic of most of the conversations in Outlanders. :^)
I'll say that this one is renter. Though I recommend you see it, it's kind of short, so it might not be worth buying.
