LOOK-ALIKE CONTEST!!!
**CONTEST RESULTS!!!**
Before I announce the results, I need to say something: I said the deadline
of the contest was August 31, 1996. Well, today is December 29, 1996, about
5 or so months later. All i can say is that I'm terribly sorry. I have been
so swamped with school, and sports and everything that I never got around
to posting the results, although I did have it judged. Sorry to keep you
waiting:(
And, while today is March 27, 1997!!!! I feel even more guilty. I've had
the page ready for some while, the prizes were sent out a few months ago,
and now the results are getting up!!!! SO SO SO sorry for the delay:(

The Entry Statement:
Hey, do you think you look like a certain Sailor Scout? Do you and a senshi
share many charecteristics? Well, this is the contest for you. All you gotta
do is E-mail me. Tell me which scout you look most like. What do you two
have in common? I would really like a picture, which will giver you lots
of brownie points. Either e-mail it or e-mail me and maybe i'll give you
my snail-mail address so you can send it. But, I don't want any of you weirdos
in cyber-land sending me stuff in the mail, so you better wanna enter in
order for me to give ya my address.

Entry: Hi,my name is Jaela Austen.... well here are the ways I'm like Serena:
I hate surprise tests,I love to shop, I like to eat ice cream,my favorite
subject in school is music(I really love to sing,although I'm not very good
at it),I hate math,I have one cat,I always fantasize about finding my true
love,I hate school,I have an annoying brother,I wish I was a sailor scout,just
like Serena did before she was one,I have long blond striaght hair,I like
sleeping in,I like to eat,I'm skinny no matter how much I eat,I get emotional
easily,boy crazy, and....that's about it. CONGRATS JAELA!

Entry: I'm not a dead ringer for Serena... until you get to know me.
:)))))) I'm 5'2" and blonde with blue eyes, seventeen years old. Love
cats, addicted to chocolate, and absolutely idolize female superheroes.
Wanna be just-like-Sailor-veeeeeeee. Wanna be a megastar and be famous.
Cry at the drop of a hat. Have incredibly teenagerish moodswings. Goofiness
and silly faces. A nerdly dad, a sweet-as-sugar mom, and an annoying little
brother. (no daughters in the future... yet!!!) An incredibly cool boyfriend
who has rescued me at some of the toughest times in my life, I fell in love
with him before I knew I did, and the moment we both realized it, we also
knew we were destined-to-be-together. He's dying to wear his tuxedo around
me too (i think he's jealous of tuxedo mask!) Enough yet? You can look at
a picture of me:. Doesn't look much like Serena maybe? Just wait till you
see me with two buns in my hair and a goofy expression on my face, going
"Like EEEEEEven." My friends say the resemblance is uncanny.

Entry:I belive I am most like Sailor Jupiter. I have brown hair and big
brown eyes. (Unforunetly, I am still a little shaky on how to download and
I don't even have a scanner, so I can't send you a picture.) I was born
a day after Lita, Dec. 6, and have the same sign. And even before I found
Sailor Moon, I have always worn my hair in a ponytail, usualy with only
an elastic. I have the exact same earings as Lita, in different colors,
too. I like lace up shoes and there hasn't been a play that I hasn't worn
my brown boots for. I took Karate in Elementry School, I had to stop taking
because we moved and couldn't find someone else. I move around a lot, but
not because I'm a bad girl. I love to cook as well. I help Mom with dinner
nearly every night and love to bake muffins. The one thing I am not is really
tall.

I like to eat and sleep. I am kinda sorta a crybaby and I am a little more
careless than my sister. I have medium-long blonde hair with blue eyes.

BoB: The one that I take after the most is Sailor Mercury!! We both have
short hair but mine is blond. We are both Virgo's. My Birthday is the Twelth
of September and hers is the tenth so she is 2 days older than me! We both
do very good in school. We both have the same favorite subject, math and
our favorite colors our Blue. P.S. Our REAL name's both start with A. We
both like Chess and as you can see I like computers!!!
Stacy S.: I'm a lot like Jupiter in personality! I LOVE to cook, I'm a Sagitarius
and my birthday's the day after hers Im a little over average height, I'm
the same age, and my hair and eyes are brown, I do wear my hair in a ponytail(high)
almost all the time...and I have a bobble that I wear in my hair that looks
the same as Lita's/ Oh, and dont forget I have a very similar temper, do
fight a lot (althgouh I usually am practicing Tai Kuon Do or something with
my friend, and the fights aren't always physical).
Bonnie: The sailor I definatley resembler is Sailor Saturn. My hair is black,
straight, and shoulder lenght. She and I are also the same height. I may
not be white like she is but I am a pur Asian (Thai). I really like history
(especially Egyptian history) and i too hate P.E. I'm not weak like she
is, I'm actually very strong. I also love to collect dolls, mainly the Japanese
Sailor moon dolls. At one point of my life, I felt like destroying the world
too but id didn't (lucky earth). Although I have many friends, REGULAR people
think I have weird tast for things. In other wors, they think I'm weird.
Example: I am way to trendy for life, I prefer a snake to a cat for a pet,
I act like a boy during sports, I tire easily at the weirdest times.
Vanessa: think that I look a lot like Sailor Moon because: first I kind
of look a bit like her exept I don't have the meatballs. Second I got the
same attitude. I like to eat a lot and sometimes I got to admit I'm a crybaby.
I also hate school and I"m always late. But I am also very generous
and I stand up for my friends. Oh yes, I keep forgetting, everything evrywhere
but when I have an idea in my head, nothing can put it out until I'm done
with it. I assure you, I'm really like this I'm not trying to say everythign
sailor moon is just to win the contest. A while after I started to watch
Sailor Moon, I started imagining that I was Serena and my other friends
were Ray, Mina and Lita. Unfortunatly I don't have a friend who's really
good in school who could play Ami. So, am I in?
Crystal: The Sailor Scout I'm like is Sailor Jupiter! What do I have in
commen with her you ask? Well, I'm blood type O, my favorite colors are
green and sugar pink, my favorite food is meatloaf and cherry pie, I don't
hate anything, my favorite subject in home economics, I don't like pyhsics,
I love to cook (That's fr sure!) and to bargain. My hair color is brown
(auburn), my eyes are brown with a touch of green in them, my favorite animals
are horses and dolphins, I am VERY tall, I get into some fights, and i'm
a Sagittarius (December 10th) and I'm 14 years old. THERE! OUF! That's a
lot huh?! I really think it is me! And don't you start thinking that I'm
lying about all that stuff that is in commen with me and her! Don't start
if you know what's good for you! Well, that's it! Gotta book it!
Linda: I am 5'10" and therefore taller than most of my friends, since
we're all around the age of 14-15. I, myself am 15, another thing I have
in common with Lita. I also have long brown/auburn hair, that, during the
summer, I tend to keep in ponytail atop my head. Sometimes I even use those
little ball-like hairholder thingees Lita has. Like Lita, I'm fairly strong,
I'm probably not as good a cook as Lita, but I'm sort of learning. Oh, my
birthday is December 15th, that puts me under Lita's astrological sign of
Saggitarius. Another kind of eery thing about the two birthdays is that
we were both born(I know Lita's ficticious, but go with it)on important
days in Walt Disney's life (you know I'm talking about): Lita was "born"
on Walt's birthday(Dec. 5, 1901), and I was born on the day Walt died(Dec.
15, 1966), creepy huh? I also like cats-Lita seemed to take to Luna
quite well the first time she showed up. I don't have any ex- boyfrinds
to dream of, though, that's probably the biggest (and one of the only)difference
between us. I also have a oft-whiny and insecure friend with weird hair,
but I stick up for her most of the time(when shae doesn't irritate me that
is ^_^). By the way, I really love thunder storms-no lie!
Lindsey R.: Hi! My name is Lindsey and I love Sailor Saturn! My hair is
really short now and I dyed it auburn. I used to have dark brown hair down
to my shoulders. I love the color purple, Sailor Saturn's color! I love
to read and you should see my Barbie collection! Woah! I want to be a doctor,
just as Sailor Saturn heals people. I love antique lamps and I used to have
no friends because I was mean but then my best fried Addrienne came along,
just like Sailor Chibi Moon did! Oh! By the way, I get tired in gym class
a lot even if we have hardly been doing any thing.
Amy C.: I find myself just like Sailor Neptune. I love to read and play
the violin. I have wavy shoulder length hair that I have tried several timesto
die blue. I got high honors every quarter this year. I'm in a classs called
Academically Talented. I stand in the 70th percentile of height, just like
she's a little bit taller than some of the others. I looove to mess around
with make up too! I love to swim, which I'm pretty good at. As you can see,
I should change my name to Michelle!
