Feelings
The awesome power of eelings,
we cannot hope to comprehend,
it will always remain a mystery,
until the very end,
Love is a feeling,
with mixed blessing its true,
it can fill us up with so much pain,
but also make us whole,
Hate is a thing that many keep close,
no matter what the cost,
it is something that causes much death,
and always leaves us crying,
Compassionate folk are rare at best,
for their hearts are always wandering,
if you can find someone with this trait,
keep them close at hand,
Pleasure is derived from many places,
as it can come from the good or bad,
but when we see a child so bright,
we know not to be sad,
So eternally will we be guessing,
for the true meaning in our hearts,
why had God gave us feelings,
perhaps, as a place to start.
