Bonsai is one of my other loves and here too I have been on hiatus. Approximately the same amount of time, plus three. Here again I am starting form scratch but only with trees. I just recently unpacked some beautiful pots that I have had in storage, including some hand carved granite pots from Hong Kong. At present I have approximately 8 trees in growing pots and one Twisted Juniper that stands about three feet tall including its pot, which is a blue glaze tall square pot. My big addition last fall was the final completion of my potting bench which will be used, not only for my Bonsai, but for my gardening efforts in general. Since my collection is virtually non-existent at this time I have gained permission to show selected scans from Herb Gustafson's book "Miniature Bonsai."
