Rin Kobayashi is the youngest of the group of reincarnated scientists. Rin is just your average, bratty, elementary school kid. That is, until Alice accidently knocked him off her balcony causing him to go to the hospital and putting him in a coma for a few days. After that Rin began having "Moon Dreams" about his past life. He also began to display amazing psychic powers. His powers clearly are much stronger than those of the others, much like Shion's powers were stronger than the other scientists (those that had powers anyway). Rin is younger than the others because Shion died nine years after the other scientists. Nine years alone on the moon would certainly drive anyone insane..... |

Shion is the engineer of the team. He is also a loner and is in love with Mokuren, who also loves him deeply. Many of the other scientist dislike Shion due to his opinionated nature. His only real friend on the mission is Gyokuran, whom he went to school with. Shion and Mokuren love causes some problems since Gyokuran and Shukaido love her as well. It is also alluded to, that Shion might have raped Mokuren, but this is probably not true, due to the fact that Mokuren would lose her powers if she lost her virginity. Oddly enough, when Shion is reincarnated he looks a good deal like Shukaido, and Shukaido looks very much like Shion. Shion was orphaned when he was young, and was raised (for a very short time) by Lazlo and Kyaa! The lose of his family, Lazlo, and Kyaa! early in his life explain his loner nature. |
