Why must I be a crustacean in love?
I caught this episode, Saturday, February 5th. A local station, Globale Quebec aired it a day early, I'm not the one to complain.

Dr. Zoidberg' acting realy weird. He gets in a rage over every little thing. After Prof. Farnsworth's diagnostic, wich revealed that it was mating season for his specie and his male jelly (you must know what that is) must fertilize a female's egg, the crew ( Leela, Fry & Bender ) takes him to his homeworld for the huge "invertebrate-sex-orgy". And with 19 hours before the frenzy, Dr. Z sets out to find a mate.
He decides to go find females on the beach, and the he starts his mating ritual. However, his display just doesn't impress the females, even when he sees his old high-school friend, Edna. She decline his offer by telling him that he didn't have enough jelly for her large quantity of eggs.
Fry
takes Dr. Z under his wing, by teaching him 20th century techniques to
approach women, such as meaningless conversations and compliments. Surprisingly,
it works, that is, until she finds out that those flatering words came
from Fry.
Edna decides to seduce Fry. She invited him to her place, saying she wanted
to discuss Dr. Zoidberg. She kissed the reluctant fry just as Dr. Z cames
in. And in a blind fury, he challenged Fry to a "Duel-to-the-death"over
her. So Fry is either dead, or about to have the worst sex of his life.
In one corner, Dr. Zoidberg armed with his own claws, in the other, Fry armed with a ... Nutcracker? And in the crowd Bender taking all bets. . Fry gets Dr. Z in a head-lock with his nutckacker but lets him go saying that the law stating that when this duel is invocked, it can't be stoped, was stupid. And at that moment Dr. Z cut off his arm. Using his arm as a bat, Fry starts beating the Doctor. They soon stop realizing that the orgy had begun, and Edna chose another crustacean.
The
crew watch the crab-like population go mate in the water, with produces
some earily green foam. As they are leaving, Bender notices the large quantity
of birds ( because he's covered with bird crap ). Zoidberg explains that
they are eating the now-dead population. When his specie have sex, they
then die. On the trip back home, Dr. Zoidberg reattaches Fry's arm, but
misplaces it under his other arm.
