Hizaki: "Hello ojyosan. You know who I am?"

Asago: "Hizaki Sakae right? But you're supposed to be in jail."

Hizaki: "In this world, money can get you anything."

Tsukasa stays hidden and listens in. {How the hell did he get out!?}

Hizaki: "Since you're here, it must have been that he failed."

Asago: "He has the same blood as you right? He lacks social skills. There's no doubt that he inherited some of your DNA."

Hizaki, agreeing: "The way he loves seeing people unhappy is a sure sign. I want to see Kuryugumi fall to hell. It's something I've been looking forward to for awhile now. It seems that the drug dealing incident didn't work so we tried this new approach. Thanks to you, we gained information that was unknown to us earlier... about who's to become Kuryugumi Sandaime's seisai..."

Tsukasa is hiding in the shadows by the stairs. {What should I do? How are we supposed to get out of here in this situation?} She starts muttering to herself. {No weapons, no allies, no key...}

Hizaki: "I don't mind watching things go slowly as planned, but me, I tend to prefer being loud and showy. I hope that he can recognize you the next time he sees you ojyosan." Two of his men aim their guns at her. "Fire!"

Two shots are fired, but Asago for some reason is not hit. At the sound of the shots, Tsukasa also burst out from her hiding spot. She goes for the closest guy knocking him out.

Tsukasa: "Asago-----!!! Go-----!!!" She kicks the fallen guy's gun at Asago, who catches it. Asago turns with a wicked smile on her face. She kisses the gun.

Some shots are fired.

Back at the Sumon residence. Sumon is pacing nervously.

Kamo-san: "Kashira...How about relaxing a bit?" [Kashira = head, kind of like sir]

Bun-san: "That's right. Come have some tea."

Kamo-san, Bun-san and two of Sumon's main bodyguards are sitting down on the floor enjoying tea and Japanese sweets.

Sumon turns. "You guys!!!" {How can you enjoy this at home atmosphere at a time like this?}

Kamo-san: "Don't worry. Sandaime will do something about this."

Sumon: "I know that!!" He thinks back to what Ryuji had said to him. He stomps towards them. He changes his mind and sits down with them. "I'll eat these sweets!"

Asago's mother: "Honey! Watch your blood sugar!"

Kamo-san glances at his watch. It's 10:25. {Sandaime...}

Somewhere on the streets.

Crash!!!

Ryuji rams the car into a huge post. The front end is totalled and the air bag inflated. He can't get it out of the way. Enka music is still blasting from the speakers.

The radio: "It's now 10:45 am." He panics and somehow manages to get the car back on the road.

Asago shoots at another guy, making him drop his gun. Tsukasa comes up from behind the guy, dropping her heel on his head. Knocking him out, Asago grabs the gun.

Asago: "Here, take a gun. If you're weaponless, you're at a disadvantage." She throws the gun at Tsukasa, but Tsukasa isn't looking. The gun bounces off her head.

Tsukasa: "Ouch..."

Asago: "...What are you doing?"

Tsukasa, holding out her hands: "I want to take these off~~~" {This guy doesn't have the key either.}

Asago: "Oh! This..." She holds out the key.

Tsukasa: "What!? If you had it then why didn't you bring it out earlier!?"

Asago: "Oh be quiet. I forgot."

Tsukasa: "When did you get it anyway?"

Asago: "Don't think that I was just going to let myself be attacked." {Didn't you tell me not to give up?}

Tsukasa: "By any chance, you kept it for me?"

Asago: "J.. Just returning the favour you did of saving me."

Tsukasa: "You do pretty good." She smiles.

Asago: "...You too..." She returns the smile.

Tsukasa: {This is strange. I never really liked her... but I'm really... happy. Kind of like we're friends.} She stops. {Friends? I get it now. I must be seeing Ryuji as a friend! That's why I took back those words, because I didn't want to hear one of his matter-of-fact answers. ("Yes" or "of course".) I knew what my existence to him was, but his existence to me had changed....}

Tooya: "Find them! Don't let Sumon Asago get away. Kill her upon sight!!"

Hizaki: "I won't recognize you as my true son until Shirogami Ryuji's dead."

Tooya: "You only have to say it once!!"

Hizaki: {What a twisted personality. He has guts too.} Apparently, he likes the kid a lot more than he'll admit.

More men are running around.

Tsukasa: "This will make it harder to go downstairs."

Asago: "Isn't going up even worse!?" {That's a dead end!}

Tsukasa: "At least there will be less people."

Asago reluctantly agrees.

She starts muttering to herself: "I can't die before I see Ryuji. I swear I'll get out of here alive!!"

Tsukasa lends Asago her protector, who grudgingly puts it on.

Asago: {Hey, this really fits me. Does this mean that my frame is like a guy's?} She glances at Tsukasa. {Wait, this guy's like a girl----....}

Tsukasa: "Asago!!!"

Asago: "!!?"

A shot whizzed by where Asago's head had just been seconds earlier. Tsukasa dived and landed on Asago. Tsukasa manages to fire the gun.

Tsukasa: "Ah!! Sorry! I didn't mean to hit you there! I meant to hit your gun!!"

Asago: {...What!? What is this...!!?} She pushes Tsukasa off of her. Her mouth opens and closes like a fish.

Tsukasa: "...What?"

Asago suddenly pulls up Tsukasa's shirt. Her eyes open wide in surprise. Tsukasa snatches her shirt back.

Asago: "What the HELL is this~~~~!!!!!!"

"What? Over there!!!"

"There they are!!!"

Tsukasa: "Bakayaro!! Why the hell did you yell so loud----?" They start running up stairs.

Asago: "Why do you have such big ones? Hentai-----!!!!" {I thought you were a boy!!!} She stops suddenly. "Wait... Hey!! Ryuji doesn't know about this does he!!" {I thought it was strange that Ryuji had an interest in someone, especially a guy.} "That's why... I didn't like you from the start... That's why I was envious, even though I knew you were a guy..." She turns suddenly, the gun pointed at Tsukasa.

Tsukasa pales in fear.

Asago: "...I don't think I can get to like you. Especially someone like you!!" Tsukasa tries to block. Asago fires.

Thud.

Tsukasa: "Huh?" She sees a guy behind her falling down the stairs. Asago takes off, but Tsukasa is shaking with fear. "Wait!!" {Man that scared me!!}

They end up on the roof.

Asago: "Now what? It was your idea to come here!!" {You better take responsibility!!}

Tsukasa: "The only way down would be to jump right?"

Tsukasa is hanging on for dear life as Asago tries to push her off the edge. "I'm kidding~~~~! Stop~~~!!"

Asago: "So go down and get help!!"

Voice: "You're going to jump? That's a good idea too. The both of you." Asago and Tsukasa turn. It's Tooya and some of his men. They pale in fear.

Down on the ground, some of Tooya's men get a message via cell phone that Asago had been captured. They are ordered to kill Ryuji on sight. They hear music.

"N? Enka?" A car is headed straight towards them. "Shirogami..."

They see Ryuji. "...Huh...?" Ryuji has a grenade in his hand and pulls out the pin with his teeth. He throws it straight towards the group of men. They get blown to oblivion. He drives by with the music blaring.

Ryuji looks up and sees two people on the roof of the building. {Asago... Tsukasa!?}

Asago: "Ryuji---!!!" She looks down, and sort of slumps in Tsukasa's arms. {It's so high~~~!}

Tooya: "...Jump... Right in front of him and splatter your guts on the ground." He keeps his gun on them.

Ryuji raises his gun and fires into the air. He looks Tsukasa straight in the eye. Tsukasa sees this. She stops to wonder for a moment, then makes her decision. She grabs Asago and dives off the building.

Tsukasa: "Ryu------!!"

Ryuji sees them and somehow manages to maneuver the car to catch them. [Pretty good for someone who can't drive...] The backseat of the car is like a huge cushion.

Tsukasa: "...I'm alive..."

Ryuji floor the accelerator and they escape.

Tooya: {I won't give up... Shirogami Ryuji!!}

Somewhere in the streets, Ryuji puts the car in park. The car is a wreck, both the front and rear ends are smashed and the airbags are still half inflated.

Tsukasa: "That's not the end. They're definitely going to do something again." She leans on the back of the passenger side seat.

Ryuji: "We're never going to get along with Hizaki. As long as he's in Tokyo, this is going to continue. The next time he does something, I'll do something about it."

Tsukasa: "If you're going to do something, I wish you'd done it this time."

Ryuji: "Aren't you alive?"

Tsukasa: "I'm trying to say that you should have done something earlier!! Even when I jumped, I was really confused!! I was counting on you to do something, but I was wondering, what if you didn't..." Asago comes to, but remains where she is listening in on their conversation. {Up until now, I probably couldn't have trusted him... but...} "But... hey... I'm glad that I trusted you and jumped... Thanks..." She gives him this sweet smile. Ryuji is moved. {...Now, something is changing... slowly...}

Asago, very ticked off: "Hey!! Don't be looking at my Ryuji like that! How improper!"

Tsukasa: "Like I was..."

Asago: "How rude for a bodyguard!! I hope you're not thinking yourself important just because you saved me!!"

Tsukasa: "I'm not."

Asago, turning to Ryuji: "Ryuji! Let's leave this guy and go home."

The music starts blaring again as Ryuji puts the car into drive.

Tsukasa, running: "Wait! How come you're just leaving me here!?"

Ryuji: "....."

Back at the Sumon residence. The men are still sitting around.

Sumon: "Hey!!! Kamojima! You told me not to worry, but look at that dark expression on your face! You'll make the sweets go bad!!"

Bun-san: "Kashira, if you don't stop eating soon, you'll be in trouble with your wife." (^_^;)

Kamo-san looks worried: {Sandaime....}
