Freya lifts her right hand and points. "...You there... You," She points at Tsukasa. "You," She points to Akira. "And you." She points to Ryuji. "...Prepare yourselves." She smiles slyly with slitted eyes.

Behind them, needles seem to thrust up from the ground

The episode title page is a double spread of the kanbu and kumiin being pierced by Freya's hair. Tsukasa, Ryuji and Akira are standing there stunned.

Text: The destructive force of the beautiful rose......!!

Tsukasa and Ryuji: "!!?" They whip their heads back to see the kanbu and kumiin fall to the ground.

Tsukasa: {------...Wha...!!?} Her eyes are wide open in shock.

Freya loosens her hair from the ground and whips it about to shake off the blood. {...Now,}

Ryuji: "...Hey." He looks to his fallen men.

Tsukasa crouches at Kyuragi's side. "Hey misters!!"

Freya lifts her left hand and flexes her fingers which click in anticipation. {I can play without having to worry about any interruptions......}

Akira: "...Hey...... Here it comes...!"

Tsukasa and Ryuji: "!!"

The cables on Freya's fingers suddenly shoot out and the 5 serrated pincers whip straight for them.

Somewhere else.

Bang...!

Usui: "Ow...!!"

Mooka: "...What this? ...Did you hit your chin again?" {Haven't you figured out the length of your face yet!?}

Usui, seen with a bandage on his chin: "Shut up! Unlike you I'm a big person!!"

Usui and Mooka seem to be crawling through the ducts to reach their destination. They're dressed in their suits while the kumiin behind them are wearing army gear and hard hats complete with lights.

Text beneath Mooka and Usui: Currently sneaking in via route 2.

Kumiin 1, whispering: "Wouldn't you normally hit your head in this situation...?" He's seen with a bandage on his hard hat.

Kumiin 2, whispering back: "Shh!" He too has a bandage on his hard hat.

Usui: "Damn! If I knew it was going to be like this then I should have chosen route 3."

Mooka: "At this rate when we reach the site, it'll all be over between us and Garyukai. If Sandaime already has the 'kagi' by then we'll look foolish."

Usui: "...The 'kagi'. I don't really know for sure it but it's probably something like a diamond." {Sandaime's explanation was difficult and I didn't understand it...... Something about the way it refracts light......}

Mooka: "We haven't seen it for ourselves but it sounds like Sandaime has."

Usui: "...... ...I wonder where he's seen it... That 'kagi' is Garyukai's top secret is it not...?" {They must have kept it secret amongst the top execs of Garyukai.}

Mooka: "True... since it is the 'kagi' that leads to the source of the drug. And if you can produce an 'counter drug' from the same root then to Garyukai it's of utmost value!"

Usui: "That's right. To us, it's a gift from the gods! An important 'clue'." He points for emphasis and laughs.

Silence stretches between the clan heads.

"...... ......"

The kumiin behind them are sweat dropping.

Usui: "......That phrase...... Do you not remember blurting it out sometime in the past......?"

Mooka: "...I do---..."

Both of them recall chasing after Ryuji and Asago when they all the clan heads were pestering them about finding out about the kage no seisai's daughter.

Echoes from the past.

"What's this about the kage no seisai having a daughter!?"

"The kage no seisai's daughter. She must have some clue of how we can oppose Garyukai."

"We should search for this daughter!"

"Sandaime, a search."

"We must find a clue!!"

"To oppose!"

"A clue!"

Back in the present, Mooka and Usui pause. "...... ......"

Mooka: "... ...Could it be..." {Right now... the kagi we're trying to retrieve from Garyukai and......} Usui: "...Could it be---..." {the 'clue' that Hogou's kage no seisai's daughter is thought to have are ...the same---...!?}

Usui: "...Sandaime---..." {Perhaps at that time---... he had already met the kage no seisai's daughter------...!?} He's referring to when Ryuji had glared at both of them when one had asked about commencing a search for the Wakasa's daughter.

Back to Ryuji and co.

Two pincers are heading straight for someone.

Tsukasa, in a ninja-dog form: "Ninpo---------!!" She dashes out. [Yeah, yeah, explanation. She's in dog form... but in ninja gear. She also has her short sword out.]

She manages to halt in front of Ryuji. "Migawari no jutsu------!!" The pincers are heading straight for her.

Ryuji: "TSUKASA!!!"

Tsukasa smiles slyly as sticky thread-like material shoots out from somewhere binding the cables of two sets of pincers together. Unable to move independently, the 2 sets of pincers miss her.

Tsukasa: "Nice help Blue Shadow!!" {I knew I could believe in you!}

Text pointing to the ninja-dog: Red Shadow.

Akira too is in a ninja outfit. He has the kanji 'blue' embroidered on the back of his gear. Sounds like Tsukasa had given Akira and herself code names.

Smoke escapes from Akira's weapon, which he used often to apprehend criminals. Unlike Tsukasa who's smiling with her thumbs up signal, Akira is silently crying with streams of tears running down his face. "...Tsukasa......" {No matter what, I didn't want to do anything that would help/save Shirogami Ryuji.........} "...That's unfair..."

Freya butts in. "That's right, it's unfair. Going 3 against one to disable my arm!" She displays her left arm where none of her 'fingers' are free.

She sighs in exasperation, the right half of her hair pierced into the ground. [BTW, it doesn't look like only her fingers are extendible. Her whole left arm below the elbow is greatly elongated.] "Don't you think it's unmanly considering that you are men!?" [The word Akira and Freya (hikyo) used can also mean 'unfair', 'cowardly' or 'mean'.]

Tsukasa twitches violently.

Text: An NG word against Tsukasa-kun. It is dangerous so please don't attempt this. [NG = a Japanese short form used in the media/film industry for 'no good']

Tsukasa: "...Unfair......? ...Unfair is like...... when you divert someone's attention with a frontal attack and then tying up his arms and legs from behind with the hair you sneaked through the ground, and then attacking him again. Isn't it more like something like this............?" She directs her eye at Freya.

Ryuji: "......" He's showing a couple of popped veins on his forehead. He's tied down to the ground by Freya's hair. This time, instead of being sharp needles, Freya's hair is acting more like tangling vines which are still moving. Tsukasa is slowly slicing through the locks of hair with her blade to free him.

Text underneath that frame: And on top of that being sexually harassed by being petted all over. [!!?]

Freya laughs she untangles the thread-like material from her fingers (which are now retracted). "It's all right for me." She glances at the fallen kumiin who are lying there covered in blood. "...I love killing good looking men who are full of life. So I get rid of the ones who look untasty in the beginning and then the tasty looking ones next. I take pleasure in slowly playing and killing them." She points at Tsukasa and Akira. "While picking at you 2 there once in awhile."

Akira: "......"

Tsukasa: "......"

Text pointing to Tsukasa and Akira: Hashiyasume. [Hashiyasume is a phrase that means vaguely 'somewhere to rest one's chopsticks'... which can loosely be translated to mean 'something that's not the main course', i.e. appetizer or side dish.]

Freya: "That guy is the first on my list."

Tsukasa starts, and thinks for a moment. "---..." She turns suddenly to Freya. "---...Oneechan..."

Freya: "What?"

Tsukasa points at Ryuji, who's freeing himself with Tsukasa's blade. "...This guy's face may look like this but he's an oyaji already nearing 40." {Mentally.}

Akira: "!!"

Ryuji: "!!"

Freya: "Don't lie."

Tsukasa: "It's true. As proof, I'll have you know that he prefers alcohol and nicotine over 3 meals a day. For all 365 days in the year, after 5 all he does is sigh when he thinks nobody else is around!" {He's tired and his skin is dry and old.}

Text around Tsukasa: He's not young at all and he's not full of life.!! Oneechan if you're not careful he'll take your youth away!!

Ryuji, with popped veins: "...Hey..."

Akira, with a shadow over his face: {Nearing 40... How scary...... I almost believed it for a moment......! Since I used to think he was strange to be 14 like this......}

Large text: What persuasion skills....!!

Tsukasa: "...If you want kill some young man and full of life then......" She transforms into Wakasa mode. With her hand on her hip, she challenges Freya with her eyes.

Freya snaps back: "...I know... I know!!"

Ouguro is seen with his laptop somewhere well away from where Freya is. "What's wrong? It's not like you who loves being ordered by a 'good looking guy' to be unhappy when you have a 'good looking guy' right there in front of you." [I think I have that right... Darn that Kansai dialect.]

Freya: "......! I don't get it either! I don't get it but," She stares back at Tsukasa defiantly. {For some reason, this guy's eyes piss me off------!!!}

Usui: "A!! It's Sandaime!!" Mooka and the kumiin are behind him as they dash to the scene.

Some clan head: "Sandaime!!" Another clan head is behind him along with rifle wielding kumiins. [Remember, not all of the clan heads have names yet...]

Text pointing to the clan heads: The kumiin arriving via routes 2 and 3.

Akira: "Gege!" [Gege = an exclamation of disgust.]

Ryuji: "! You guys!" Looks like he's standing now, after managing to free himself from Freya's hair.

Clan head 1: "Sandaime! Are you all right...!?"

Mooka, pointing: "Hey, look there!"

Usui: "! Kyuragi and his men!"

The kumiin around them start.

Ryuji: "...The situation's changed. Everyone escape. Get out of Megafloat."

Clan head: "...E!?"

Ryuji: "They're (Garyukai's) planning on blowing up Megafloat."

Text over the surprised clan heads' faces: EEEE!?

Tsukasa: "Not yet......!"

Clan heads: "!"

Tsukasa: "If we're going to escape that'll be after we take back the 'kagi'...!!"

Mooka: "......"

Usui: {...Take back---...?}

Ryuji: "...Fine... And I plan on remaining."

The kumiin and the kanbu freak.

Tsukasa: "...OK. Then let's decide our roles."

Ryuji: "Stop! One against that one is impossible!"

In the distance, Freya is seen lifting her left arm, poised to strike.

Tsukasa: "It's too late.." She wields her blade. {Her only target is me.}

Freya whips her left arm in front of her.

Tsukasa's eyes go wide in shock as she's slashed and pierced in numerous places.

Ryuji and his group stare in horror.

Back inside the building.

A rumbling sound is heard.

Asago: "!!!" She's panting and sweat beads her face. "---... ...What's this...?" {What was that sound...?} "...It doesn't sound good..." Looks like she was trying to pull Munakata to safety (his head is resting in her lap as she pauses for a breather). She glances down at him.

Munakata still doesn't stir. She had used something as a makeshift bandage for his head.

Asago: "......" She clenches her left hand as if scared of something. Slowly, she places her bloodied hand on Munakata's neck. "---..." {...It's... weaker again---...? ...No---... No...!!} She squeezes her eyes shut. {---Gambatte------...!!} [Gambatte = good luck/try harder/go] Asago rests her face on Munakata's for a moment. [I don't think she's kissing him...]

With effort, she stands again. "...!" {...If I can get to the hotel entrance, Kuryugumi's medical team should be there...!} Walking backwards, she tries to pull the huge cop with her. "...!"

Pain suddenly stabs her in the abdomen. "......!" Her eyes squeeze shut again until the pain recedes. Gritting her teeth, she takes a deep breath and pulls again. "N.....!" Slowly she makes her way across the room leaving a bloody trail.

The rumbling sound occurs again. Bits of plaster rain down from the ceiling and drop to the floor.
