In the year 2000 the second impact occured. A giant meteor hit
the polar ice caps. The result was the earth was knocked out of
it's orbit, producing weird weather patterns. Also, the polar ice
caps melted, raising the sealevel by 500 feet. Because the sealevel
increased so much, all the coastal towns around the world were flooded,
many food sources were destroyed, and half the population of the earth
died.
The year is now 2015, 15 years after the second impact.
The place is Tokyo-3. The UK now faces a new threat, the angels.
Nerv was created to fight the angels with the evangelions and save the
earth from a thrid impact.
