Beginning in the 17th century, the clergy of Saint Michal's Church began to keep records of each baptism, marriage, or death that occured in the area. I have extracted some of the entries from the Roman Catholic parish registers of St. Michal's Church and posted them alphabetically on this site. These records are available on microfilm through the LDS Family History Library. They are item ten on film #1739642, all items on films #1739643 and #1739644, and items one to two on film #1739645. Baptism Record Extracts: These baptism records usually include the child's name, the date of the birth and baptism, the parent's names, and the town in which the family lived at the time. The social status of the family (whether of common or noble descent) may also be included.
Marriage Record Extracts: The marriage records usually include the name of each party, their ages, the date of the marriage, the place of the marriage, the town or towns in which the they lived, and whether or not either party was widowed.
Death Record Extracts: The death records usually include the deceased's name, age, the town from which the deceased came, the date of death, the place and date of burial, and the cause of death.
All information for each entry is written exactly as is in the original. I will not edit any entry, but I will add notes if the priest made an error, or if additional information is known.
