In order to prevail in a civil war, against Federation forces, The Terran Confederation sends Webber to forge an alliance with the hated “Syndicate” Cartel.
Captain Leslie Webber is forced to choose sides when Humanity turns against itself in a tragic war that pits Good against Good and friends against friends.
An atrocity committed by elements of Federal forces on the Barnes star four colony, forces Webber to fight for the Confederation cause, putting her on the side opposite her friend, Captain Morris and mentor, Admiral Simmons.
But if victory over the Federals is to be realized, an alliance must be forged with the hated “Syndicate” crime cartel---A job that falls to Webber.
Mark Twain said That "History may not always repeat itself but it certianly does rhyme". THE LIGHTS OF GLORY offers unusual insights into The true tragedy and paradox of The American War between the states from the perspective of another era without the moral questions of "slavery" and "Saving the Union" to cloud the issues.
Civil war breaks out in Terran space pitting well meaning Federationist forces against, the mostly colonial elements that still support the freedom afforded by the Terran Confederation. Wherin we see the real tragedy of a war with the forces of good on opposing sides, pitting friends against friends and yes, brother against brother. To prevail both sides must make pacts with elements of evil, The Federationists use unscruplous commanders such as the depraved Captian Sherman while the Confederatinists must ally themselves with the Syndicate itself. How do you fight against and kill your friends? How do you work with and support those you hate with a deadly passion? You DON"T ask HOW. You do what you must and hope only to survive.
The Theft of a small bell from the Indian exhibit of the British museum, in 1908 alerts Sherlock Holmes to the possibility of a revival of the murderous Indian Thugee cult in London itself. When Irene Adler gets involved, they uncover something even more horrifying. The cult may be in possession of a mysterious 12,000 year old artifact, stolen from a murdered archeologist, that could destroy the city and kill over a million people.--The "bell" is not a bell at all--it's the trigger key.(Based on an actual ancient Indian Legend) (hey, thats the way `Hindu` was spelled in 1908 ;-) )
The ancient Indian legends actually Do have many references frighteningly suggestive of the use of nuclear weapons in the distant past. References to "smoke as bright as ten thousand suns" "perpendicular explosions" that open like "parasols" over destroyed cities and the symptoms of "radiation poisoning" are vividly described. Of course these references have always been thought of as "mere myths" since they were translated in the mid 19th century.--Or ARE they? What if Sherlock Holmes encountered such a weapon in London in 1908? would he or the scientists he consults with recognize what it was? Would he know what to do with it? The Thugees certainly know what they have and how to use it. Can London be saved?
BLUE HOLE A "Seawolf" class Hunter Killer sub is caught in the Bermuda triangle and is transported to an alternate 1944, where Germany is winning World War II. The crew decides to use a Tomahawk missile to `Nuke` Hitler--but they have to find him first, and set up a homing transmitter in hostile territory.
Could a single modern submarine end World War II? It has only TWO nuclear tipped Cruise missiles of limited range and they are "locked out" by the "fail safe" system network that doesn’t exist yet. Even if the crew manages to launch them, there are no GPS satellite systems in place to guide the weapons to their targets. While Captain Stebbins and his crew attempts to solve these problems, they are kept busy trying to dodge the navies of both sides of the conflict who are determined to sink the "mystery submarine".
INTO THE RISING SUN (Based on a true story) Four young Native American men (Lakota), in the 1880`s decide to see for themselves if what the "White man" says, about the World being round, is actually true. They set out on an epic journey.

The four young men head East and encounter a "Wild West" show which they are enticed to join. Before returning to North America Via California, They travel to England, France, Italy, Egypt, India, China and Japan. One Dies, one finds a new life, The other two each have life changing revelations, one for the bad and the other for the good.
