Murphy had a pet dog named Spike. Spike got impregnated by the facehugger and when Murphy found his dog it had imprints on it's face. When he was cleaning the ventalation shaft he saw a hole and saw a black thing in a hole. He thought it was Spike, but in all truth it was the alien. The alien bit his face and Murphy fell and got sucked into a fan. He was cut up into bits.
