Hello. As you know Square is planning on releasing Final Fantasy X (FFX) in North America with only an English language option. I know a lot of fans are like myself and would like to play the game with the original Japanese audio and English subtitles. FFX already comes on the DVD format which allows for multiple language and subtitle tracks. Some current games like Armored Core 2 and The Bouncer allow the player to choose what language they want to play. Square already needs to do English subtitles since subtitles is already an option in the game. It would not take much effort for Square to include both Japanese and English audio and subtitle tracks in the game.

I have started this page so that Final Fanstasy fans will have all the necessary e-mail and snail-mail addresses in one location. Please use these addresses to tell Square and Sony that you want the North American versions of Final Fantasy X to include Japanese Audio and English Sub-Title options. I know there is an online petition being run right now. But most companies ignore those types of petitions because they are to easily manipulated. A more effective way to request companies do something in particular is to write to them directly.

I have also included example letters based on the one at the online petition that you may use when you write to Square, Sony and various magazines.
