Nothing is known about this ship class, however, it appears to be a newer design.

The runabout prototype designation as USS Yellowstone in the parallel reality (Voyager: "Non Sequitur") is in conflict with the above Secquoia-class ship, unless Runabouts are named independently of larger starships, which is improbable considering the NCC registry system common to both types.
