| My friend and I have been going to this camp since 1986. We have always caught plenty of fish;walleye,northernpike,smallmouth bass,musky,and crappie. The people who own and run the camp, Sarah and Matthew Tolton, are very friendly and eager to help you in any way possible. The camp is located on an island on Lake of the Woods,Ontario,Canada. | Update: 2004 Roger, John and I just got back from another great trip to my favorite fishing place. We caught a LOT of walleye. The pike fishing was a little slow but we made up for that by catching (and releasing) 6 muskie all over 30 inches. We also had 2 others hooked but they got off. As usual, the smallmouth fishing was outstanding. Although Larry is missed very much, Sarah and Matthew are doing a great job of keeping the camp in shape and running smooth. Plus Matthew's girlfriend, Jen, is helping out a lot. She is a very capable and friendly person. I hope Matt doesn't let her get away. Lord Willing we will be back next year. |
