COFFEE COUNTY TENNESSEE

Coffee County is located in Middle Tennessee and was formed January 8, 1856 from portions of Franklin, Bedford and Warren Counties and has Manchester as its county seat. There was a small community in existence at the time of the County's forming named Mitchellville, but they renamed it as Manchester, after Manchester England, which remains its present name.
