Chris Rice is a legendary player who revolutionized the way we play paintball. He sports a Brass Eagle Raptor with a 32 Degrees Terminator Barrel and has a Brass Eagle mask made by JT. Interestingly enough, this is nearly identical to the kit used by David No.
Chris was and is the best paintballer to ever play beneath the leaves of The Dark Forest. When you played beside Chris, it was as if he projected a paintball aura. You became a better player and would often make amazing moves that were previously unattainable. The benefit of this aura came at a price, however. As those who were on his team will tell you, Chris would often exhort players to take point especially when the enemy was up the path.
On one occasion Nelson said that he sensed the enemy ahead. Chris told him to move up and attack first. Nelson refused saying that it would be wise to attack from another angle. Chris decided on a frontal assault and was forced to lead it himself. After he went up the trail a bit, he was shot by an enemy. When he got back to the preparation area, he became furious at Nelson. He said that his refusal to take point had caused his elimination.
Chris Rice shaped the way we play paintball at The Dark Forest, for better or worse. Chris shunned ambushes since he began playing, but especially after he was taken out by an ambush set by Dave Salazar, Nelson Fonseca, Mike Whildin and Kris Linton. He would often jeer Barry for hiding in bushes and not moving. He enjoyed games where both teams move toward each other.
Christopher Rice is currently enrolled as a sophomore at Bloomsburg University where he is a member at the fraternity known as Pi Kappa. When Chris returned to The Dark Forest for the summer he proved that he’s not lost his touch, taking out 8 players his first time back.
