The Forest Behind Nacac- the forest behind Northampton Community College, comprised of GPT and the Dark Forest
The Dark Forest- the section of The Forest Behind Nacac occupied by paintball players, closer to the college
GPT- the section of The Forest Behind Nacac occupied by the bikers, farther from the college
Trails
Mid-World Trail- The trail which cuts the Forest Behind Nacac in half. On one side of the trail is GPT; on the other side is the Dark Forest. Next to this trail is the preparation area where players prepare for battle. This trail was traditionally used for duels.
Main Trail- This trail runs through the middle of the Dark Forest and GPT. It starts at the field behind Nacac and ends at GPT. This is the trail most players use when launching and offensive into the Dark Forest.
Left Trail- This lesser used trail runs vertically up the left side of the Dark Forest (when viewed from Mid-World Trail). It runs from Mid World Trail to the Crack Shack.
Crack Shack Trail- The trail that breaks off the Main Trail to the left (when viewed from Mid-World Trail) and leads to the Crack Shack. Halfway to the Crack Shack the Meadow is on the right. This is the main route to the Crack Shack.
Ho Chi Minh Trail- A secret trail rumored to run up the right side of the field.
Other Trails There are numerous other trails, some that are more used than others, that lead to and from various locations. These trails are always being forgotten and new ones are made all the time. They often wax and wane with the seasons.
Locations
Preparation Area- As the name might suggest, this is the area where players get ready before a game. It is also where players go after they have been shot.
Crack Shack- a shack on the right side of the DF, near the middle. This was once water (and paintball) tight, but has since been destroyed and rebuilt twice. It is again destroyed, but there are indefinite plans to rebuild it again. The Crack Shack was often used in games in which one team was the Drugs Lords and had to defend the shack. The other team, known as the ATF, would have to attack the shack and eliminate all Drug Lords.
The Meadow-A small clearing on the right side of the Crack Shack Trail. There are two bunkers in the meadow. Above the meadow is the Tire Castle. Beyond the Meadow’s upper left corner is Ben’s Tree House.
Ben’s Tree Fort- A small tree fort built by Ben Buschi., it is located beyond the meadow’s upper left corner on the right side of the forest. A word of caution to those who attempt to use it! Ben’s Tree Fort is still under construction and not yet formally named.
Valley (of the Dolls)-This basin is located in the upper right side of the field, below Thunderclap and above the Sniper Post. From the valley, there is a trail to the back of the Sniper Post.
Sniper Post- A bunker located on a hill in the upper right side of the Dark Forest. It has two bunkers, including an extremely deep hole dug out by Barry and Kris. The Sniper Post’s other bunker was pretty much destroyed by the bikers.
Thunderclap- The heavily vegetated is located at the extreme upper right corner of the Dark Forest. There is a path to it’s center from the right side of the Sniper Post, which passes to the right of the Valley of the Dolls. It is above the Valley of the Dolls.
Tire Castle- A bunker made of tires hauled from the Valley of the Dolls. It is located in the upper left corner of the Dark Forest.
