Feel Good policies
What is conservative and what is liberal? Liberals policies can best be described as "feel good" ideas that don't work in reality. Conservatives look at reality and support what is the best and will actually work. At the TomG Report I will be dealing with the facts and will support only policies that work in reality. Facts are a curious thing that has nothing to do with feelings. A liberal never likes to be confused by the facts. It (facts) gets in the way of their "feel good" ideas. Never mind the policies are not working, it only matters that the liberals feel they did something. How many people hurt by the policies? It doesn't matter. As long as the liberals have a "feel good" plan they're happy and then they attack anyone who questions them.
If you support something only on feelings and not on the merits, then someone against you must have some undesirable motives. So one can understand why the liberals throw around words like mean-spirited. They can't understand why someone will oppose them. After all doesn't everyone want to feel good? Doesn't everyone see that they care and want to show that they care? Even if it doesn't work why should the liberals take the blame? Results don't matter to them, only their motives. But shouldn't we do something that actually works? No! If the policy was created by a conservative it must be attacked as being "mean-spirited". But it's good, it works, it actually helps people!!! No, the libs will make any excuse to not support it. It didn't make them FEEL GOOD.
