Introduction

A large hairy bipedal human like creature wich has been sited by thousands of reputable witnesses in almost every US state and Canadian Province has caught the the attention and awareness of the north American public. But not as a possible living, breathing decendant of hominid or the predessesor of the giant ape Gigantopithecus. But as most people see Bigfoot, a mythical monster, a hoax, an Indian legend, a joke. For decades the media and scientific community has over looked the evidence, and ignored the eyewitness testomony of the many witnesses that decide to risk ridicule and embarrasment to tell of their encounters. Thus, Stories of Bigfoot are repudiated to the tabloids and imagination.
There is substantial evidence to support the existance of such a creature. Most people who do not believe in something will not bother to examine the evidence, wich is a large problem when it comes acknowledging bigfoots existance.
History shows that often the loudest skeptics are those who know nothing about the subject in question. They have not studied it and will not do so, for the very reason that they do not believe in it. Nevertheless they are prepared to take the time to pronounce judgment on it.
