The Schedule
Friday, 11 January 2002
Registration: 11.30AM -1PM, front lobby, lakeland H.S. This is an earlier registration time than usual as we are under construction and the parking lot must be clear of vehicles by 1pm for the dismissal of students. any teams that arrive after 1pm will not be guaranteed placement on the round 1 schematic.
Debaters and coaches are asked to remain in the cafeteria or to leave the campus until the close of the class day. Debaters may change clothes in the student restrooms only.
General Meeting: Approximately 2pm
Round I: 2.30pm
Round II: 4.30pm (Both rounds preset with regional constraints)
Dinner: begins at 5.30 in the LHS cafeteria. DO NOT LEAVE THE BUILDING!
Round III: 7pm (power paired, high-high)
Housing gathering: immediately
following round III in the front hall of lhs.
Leave your evidence in your round III room.

Round IV: 8am, with postings at 7.45am. (high-low in brackets)
Round V: 10.30am (high-low)
Lunch: Begins at noon in the cafeteria
Elimination rounds: Begin at 1pm
All judges are obligated 1 round beyond the participation of their team(s). awards will follow the non traditional westchester policy (speakers will be posted outside of tab) elimination awards in each round. Packets will not be available until the beginning of the semifinals in varsity policy, approximately 5pm.
If there are less than 48 teams in either policy division, or less than 48 Lincoln-Douglas debaters, the elimination rounds will begin with quarterfinals.

Critical Information
Housing: There is housing available on a first come-first served basis. In order to assure a spot in the housing program, please return the enclosed forms by 21 December 2001. We can only guarantee approximately 150 housing slots, and will not guarantee slots for those schools within one hour of travel.

Judges: Each school is required to provide one adult judge for every two two-person units in varsity policy debate. Each two novice two-person teams also require one judge. Novice judges need not be adult judges, however, novice judges should be experienced debaters. An adult judge is needed for 1-4 Lincoln-Douglas debaters. A limited number of judges will be available for hire.
Awards: For all policy teams in elimination rounds. For the top ten speakers in varsity in varsity and novice policy debate. For all Lincoln-Douglas debaters in elimination rounds.
