| In the summer of 2000 I embarked on my greatest adventure to date, a 72-day trip that took me all over... Newark, New Jersey; Detroit, Michigan; Tokyo, Japan; Hong Kong, China; Bangkok and Pattaya, Thailand; and Taipei, Taiwan. Following are some pictures of that travel adventure as well as new friends and students. The bulk of the time (60 days) was spent in Chungli, Taiwan, teaching English at the American Language Village. We had three 18-day teaching sessions in my two months there. I'll never forget the kids, the teachers, or the people of Taiwan. I will return in December for a second go-around! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| July: Enjoying a national treasure of Taiwan...twa-BING! This dessert combines different fruits on the bottom of the plate with shaved ice over it, with a lil' condensed milk and syrup on top for that extra kick! WOW do I miss twa-BING! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| August 30: This is my friend Kevin, he's a runner on the Van Nung Institute of Technolgy track team. I met Kevin and many other athetes while sharing the same facilities at English camp.
