This is Aberdeen Beach, for those of you who didn't realize it is on the coast.  Tom assures me that some people do swim at this beach, I think they must be crazy (the ocean must be freezing!).  At the beach there are many restaurants (like Friday's, and Pizza Hut) also an amusement park, and our favorite place the Bowling Alley.  Aberdeen is a very fun city.  There are lots of shops, parks, pubs, and dance clubs.  I enjoyed being able to walk into town from Tom's house.  Aberdeen is also known for its beautiful floral gardens.

This is a picture from Charlie's American Bar.  Our faces look a little deformed, but for some reason I like this picture!  I'm not quite sure why they call it an American Bar, there are only a few things representing America, and I never got a free drink!

This is Slain's Pub, aka our favorite hang out.  We got hooked on the drink called Sloth.  mmm.  As you can see on the right, Tom is happily sucking one down.  The pub is really cool because it has a scary/dracula theme to it.  It is decorated really awsome, even the bathroom has spooky music playing in it.  It is modeled after the real Slain's Castle, where the story Dracula was written.  Tom and I visited that castle in December of 2002.  You can see it on my Castle Page.  I really miss popping in there for a quick drink.
