Behind the main street structures is located the storage yard for the passenger service of the Pacific Railroad. In the background is the lake and the stream nestled between the hills. In the distance you can see the wooden bridge that crosses the stream.

A Great Northern train glides by below, as passenger trains pass  by a dairy farm. The White Mountain Line coming from the city will continue its two per cent grade through the rolling hills of the farm country. The White Mountain Line's excavation work has been completed through the farm country.

After passing a huge rocky hill, we are in the desert with many mountains in the distance.  Here, the Pacific Railroad provides passenger service to the old western town. The White Mountain lines continue their ascent in the rocks above the town. The Sante Fe line contiues through the low lying area below the town.
