Because of centrifugal force, your weight at the North Pole should be heavier than your weight at the equator by such and such a percent.  However, I have read that your weight at The North Pole is heavier yet than this amount.  What explains this phenomenon?  The internet states that there is a satellite now being designed to circle over the line of the north pole, which I presume is to investigate this phenomenon.  The article only said the Sattelite is planned to investigate Einstein's theory as it relates to spinning gravitational bodies or something.
