First things first.  Give the readers a short history of the band.  How is was started, when, who is in it, etc.

Baal Gadrial started in late 1999 with myself, and bassist, Tnuc.  Later recruited was guitarist, Ravenstone.  We have gone through many drummers over the years, most notably, Balrog, who departed in 2002, Typhon, who left early 2005, and the newest black soul to our horde, Phobos.  Ravenstone then departed mid 2005, (four days before an assault) proving that he is nothing but a trend hopping faggot that can't handle black metal.  This did not stop us from playing the  "Black Blood Vomit Afterbirth" festival (with a session guitaist) which was truly an insane assault and ritual upon the masses.

You're releases are extremely limited, even though they are just rehearsals.  Will they always be that way in the future? That is; do you believe in the strict limitations of the distrobution of black metal or are they limited for other reasons?

Future releases shall not be limited to such a small amount as the first demos but I do believe in limitation.  Too many bands have fallen under the wing of trend due to mass production and easy access to bootlegging.  The first demos were distributed to people we felt worthy at the time.

With that said, what are your plans for future releases?  Are you working on any now?

We have planned, in the future, a full length album as well as an album containing live and very early and unheard rehearsal material  as a tribute to our half a decade of intolerance and hatred towards societal trend and white light religions!

On the official Graveland website, there is a picture of you burning the Israeli flag.  How did this picture find it's way to Graveland's site?

The Israeli flag was torched in a very semetic area of Sydney in a club run by jews.  This was the only reason we playedhis show; to be a fist in their faces.  I've been in contact with Darken for some time now and he saw the image and asked if he could put it on the site as he, obviously, found it very appealing and said it's good to see such a spirit still alive and not afraid of consequences.

With this imagery, would you consider Baal Gadrial NSBM?  Or is it simply anti Judeo-Christianity?  Basically, what is the band's stance on such issues?

Baal Gadrial is not NSBM as we are not political in any way.  We are an intolerant, hateful black metal band and yes, anti Judeo-Christian and anti-other white light religions, such as Islam.  I respect certain bands who truly believe in what they are fighting for however, politics is another form of sheep minded mentality and following the "pack" which black metal was and should never be about following a trend or becoming part of the flock.  As I said earlier, the burningof the Israeli flag was a fist in the ZOG's face and that we will make our point clear and divide people.  Posers and scene faggots see such actions and think, "Black metal is not for me.  This is fucked up!"  The scene needs to be cleansed of such politically correct subhuman pieces of shit!

Since many, or close to all, have never heard your limited music, describe it the best you can.  Influences or similar artists, maybe?

Baal Gadrial's music sounds a lot like Darkthrone (A Blaze in the Northern Sky era),  Graveland (Celtic Winter era), early Burzum, early Mutiilation, with some laments of Abyssic Hate's "suicidal emotions."  It's very raw; no keyboards or feminine vocals.

I believe that I read somewhere that it was rumored that you took your own life.  That is apparently not true.  Can you explain how this came about?

I departed over seas for some months and due to internet rumors, it was taken that I was dead.

What is the scene like in Australia?

Certain bands here keep the spirit of the old alive.  However, there are a lot of childish bands that have no idea.  Faggots who emulate a certain sound, rather and claim to be black metal.  This is not black metal - it's merely an emulation to recreate what they think black metal is.  It has no essence - no ideals behind it.  These bands, like in every country, make other bands look idiotic.  I don't really care for "scenes."  This is for socialites and gossip mongers.  Bitchy and full of faggots and internet forum whores.

Of the bands out there today, what would be your "perfect" lineup for a live gig?  Who would you love to play with/open for?

Here in Australia it would be a true blasphemy to assault the masses in live ritual with bands such as Nazxul, Zaebros, Infidel, and Baratheon.

A touchy subject in many black metal circles, what do you think about Varg killing Euronymous?  Why do you think he did it?

I believe it had to be done, although I believe that it made black metal very mainstream and known worldwide.  It pushed the point the music is serious with serious ideals and people behind it.  From what I gather, it was done over money to do with DSP and also females both people were associated with.  I musically prefer Burzum to Mayhem, but as far as individuals are concerned, I never knew either of them personally so I can't say whether he deserved it, etc.

Do you think that this "new generation" of black metalers, raised on the history of black metal by such books as Lords of Chaos, are too focused on the past and not concerned enough on the present?  Or do you think that they need to know their "roots?"

I think they need to respect the past and know what black metal is truly about but I also think they can't linger on figures such as Euronymous and Varg; their time is over now.  The past makes us what we are but the future is in our hands.  We can't let black metal fall into trend and be accepted as "normal" or "cool." FUCK THOSE P.C. FAGGOTS who are destroying black metal.

This is your space.  Spit your venom, propaganda, and final thoughts here.
