BLACK TRINITY (USA) | ||
Of Darkness Divine 2003 Independent Release By: Naberius Of Darkness Divine is the third demo from these minions of Satan from Northeast Ohio. This release also marks the debut of newly recruited vocalist Khaine. Although he lends his vocal ability on only half of the tracks, the rest performed by Surt (drums), he more than manages to claim his place among the ranks of the Trinity horde. The first track, "Demonic Pleasures," starts off with a sample take from the 1974 movie The Antichrist, as do a few of the other tracks, and instantly assaults the listener with visions of priest murder and nun rape and pulls you into their realm of blasphemy. From there, the attack on Christianity continues with the tracks "Triumph in Blasphemy" and "Abysmal Abomination," making way for the "begging to played live," "Ebony Ablaze Thy Beloved Night Sky." "Frozen North" is, for some reason, a dissapointingly quiet recording. However, if their intent with this song was to pay homage to the founding bands of Northern Europe, then the point is well recognized. The demo ends with "Of Cold Dark Caverns" followed by another clip from The Antichrist as an outro. All in all, this release leaves me wanting to stab a preist and then follow that up with a bloody orgy with a dozen or so nuns, which is not a bad thing. So, Christians beware! Black Trinity has still only just begun. |
