Hail. As usual, you must tell me, first, about Fecifectum's lineup and a short history. Sorry, but must do this for the reader.
Fecifectum was formed in bestial winds of 1999 by me and Trum (ex-drums.) After instable formation, we find Lord Improbus' (guitar) soul and recorded, at the end of 2001, the demo "REH 2001/2002," and after, Trum committed suicide. On last years, we looke for a new life to destroy and we found Malus Augurius Labartu to play drums in 2003. So after a long time of waiting, we decided to record "Ubi Umbrae Iacent" through Goatsemen Records from Canada.
Lord Diabolous Occultus Maleficum, you have a very large name. Can you explain the significance of such a large name like this?
Diabolous Occultus Maleficum is "occult devils making malefices." This name has a great significance because, in a few words, the logic of magic. Demons that you do not see working for evil. Making magic to make or change something.
What is the message of Fecifectum?
Show your hate to god and his idiot followers, humanity's blindness called Christianity, our displeasure with humanity, and suffering.
The influences of Fecifectum?
Our influences are ourselves. What we live every day, what is around us. We put what we live in our lyrics. Musically, we prefer to be ourselves without copying other bands.
Can you explain to me what happened with Trum? Is he missed by the remaining musicians of Fecifectum?
Trum jumped from the 8th floor of a building in Sao Paulo. He had serious problems with drugs and this was harming our work in Fecifectum. We didn't care in this epoch because we hoped ourselves that he would die.
The Fecifectum home site is very well made Do you run the page all by yourself or with the help of Lord Improbus or Malus Augurius Labartu? Is the homesite a hobby for you?

How does Goatsemen records treat you? Any problems?
We don't have any problems with Goatsemen. Lord Arzath makes your work very well.
Will you remain with Goatsemen Records and soon make a full length Fecifectum album?
No, we will not remain with Goatsemen. We want to release more demos, one or two more. Preferably, for some label out of Brazil for a later full length.
How involved are you with the scene in Brazil? Is Fecifectum a part of Brazilian underground metal?
I have been involved in the Brazilian black metal scene since 1996 but I listened to metal long ago. My uncle played in a death metal legion since 1988 and he showed me the path.
Has Fecifectum played any shows in Brazil? If not, will there ever be?
No, because we prefer to wait until we have complete material to play. Now, with two demos and a bigger set list, it's better. Now, we are preparing to make some rituals in June with several black candles, skulls, and blood. The true essence of black metal.
In your mind, what are the best things about black metal and the worst?
A lot of children listen to commercial black metal bands and they think that they are superior or think that black metal is to have a band that speaks bad words about Christianity and only this. But they forget about Satanism...of evil. A lot of children hidden behind black metal don't practice what they say. This is a great lie. I think that we have a few REAL black metal bands around the world. A band releases one full length and on the next CD, they don't want to be associated with the black metal scene. This is a great shit.
Do you expect Fecifectum to rise to the top of the Brazilian black metal scene?
No, because the top of the black metal scene in Brazil is formed by commercial bands. We prefer to be a part of the elite Brazilian black metal scene that few people around the world know of.
