Before "Praise the Apocalypse," Moontower was a very Graveland influenced band.  You could put on a Graveland album, perhaps "Carptahian Wolves," then put on Moontower's, "Aryan Metal Terror" and you wouldn't be able to find much of a difference between the two.  Moontower finally has a sound of their very own.  Far different from previous offerings.  Heavy guitars with a somewhat folkish melody, driving forward drums that don't have much variation, and much harsher vocals instead of the Graveland style vocals.  This is all very good, even the production, in my opinion, on this album, fits quite well; not too polished and not too hard to distinguish all the instruments during the eight tracks.  Five tracks of pure black metal, three tracks that set an atmosphere, not disappointing at all.  The disapponting part of all of this is the length of "Praise the Apocalypse," only a 35 minute and 11 second length.  After listening to this, there is a good chance that you will want to attain their latest offering, "Antichrist Supremacy Domain."
